We felt very comfortable, so we extended our stay. The pitches are very spacious. The only thing we criticise is the sanitary facilities. Some are poorly maintained and getting old. The beach is not entirely sandy, so I was grateful for water shoes. Nobody can do anything about the mosquitoes, but as a tip: buy a mosquito plug-in for the electrical socket.✦Translating

The campsite has all the facilities. Reception: super friendly. We were only allowed to choose between two pitches, which we found strange because the campsite was not even a quarter full. Bar, swimming pool and washing machine clean. Dryer does not work; shower and toilet are outdated and full of mosquitoes. Small supermarket with fresh pastries and baguettes every day! Many comments are too harsh. Pleasant campsite, very well located with direct access to the beach. Hot-water showers (temperature not adjustable). Beautiful swimming pool. Good value for money in April: €35 for a van, one adult, two children and a dog, including electricity. Yes, there are mosquitoes, as everywhere in the Camargue, but mainly in the early evening. Terrible reception. I arrived shortly after noon and reception was closed (understandably), so I walked into the campsite to look around. When I came out, the security guard shouted at me. I noted three pitches. When reception opened, I asked whether the pitches were available: “Here, you don’t choose; the computer does.” But the computer forgot that a motorhome can get stuck in sand. 5-star view.✦Translating

We spent four very peaceful nights with direct access to the sea. Beware: some pitches are on sand (the campsite provides slabs). Pleasant swimming pool but poorly maintained, perhaps because it was the end of the season. Well-designed sanitary facilities, but a major problem with flies and mosquitoes.✦Translating

Beautiful campsite. We paid €70 for two nights for two people. This included a motorhome pitch with electricity, etc. From the camper van you can walk straight onto the beach. There is also a small swimming pool.✦Translating

Very good reception and excellent staff (when it comes to taking your money). The motorhome pitch was acceptable but sandy; the sea is 50 m away. Horrible nights fighting mosquitoes—the towel used to kill them was covered in blood stains, with dozens of red bites over areas as large as a hand. The pitches by the beach are truly ideal. The swimming pool with its slides is great. The grocery shop and restaurant are extremely convenient and good quality. Downsides: the price of the pitches, although in this region, in the middle of August and by the beach, it is not so unreasonable. The sanitary facilities are a little dated but functional. At first, because of the many bad reviews, we wondered whether to come here at all. But we did, and we initially booked two nights, then stayed for a whole week. Here is a fact-based picture of the site: 1. The location could hardly be better. The pitches in the first and second rows by the sea are absolutely fantastic and are the reason we extended our stay! By bicycle, you can reach many shops and restaurants within a few minutes. The surroundings also offer beautiful nature that is excellent to explore by bike. 2. Based on previous reviews, it may be that the cleaning staff have really been increased. The toilets and showers were cleaned several times a day. We cannot complain about a lack of cleanliness. And dirty people who do not know how to behave exist everywhere. 3. The prices for a pitch range from €80 to €140, depending on location and size. Certainly not “the cheapest campsite.” The prices are really a little too high. 4. The entertainment sometimes continues into the evening and, as previously mentioned, is in French. What a surprise—we are in France. The entertainment programme did not bother us at all. 5. There are indeed an extreme number of mosquitoes here, calling for battle every evening. That is logical, given the large bodies of water. The fact is, you need a way to protect yourself at night with mosquito nets or fly screens on the camper. We recommend keeping the camper doors open only rarely in the evening. There is good spray that can clear the camper interior of mosquitoes quite well. Spraying yourself also helps. Both products are available at the campsite kiosk. 6. Regarding service, we were treated in a friendly manner throughout. Even though we paid a lot for a parking space and the girls would not negotiate the price, we were satisfied with the service. 7. We cannot comment on the pool area. We hardly spent any time there. 8. The sea and beach here are also wonderful: very extensive and clean. A few minutes’ walk along the beach, there is a great beach bar. Not cheap, but we can recommend it. Conclusion: choose this campsite if you prioritise being close to the beach and a natural setting, and luxury is not so important to you. We will return solely because of the fantastic location.✦Translating

We paid €88 (two adults and two children) for one night. The pitch was okay, but too expensive for me. Everything is a little dated and poorly maintained; much more could have been made of this place. We did not need the PIN because the beach gate did not close. The washrooms were cleaned only once a day, and our washing machine (€7) stopped after 30 minutes, so the laundry was neither washed nor spun.✦Translating

Campsite very well located, 50 m from the beach, accessed through a gate, with a swimming pool overlooking the sea. Small supermarket, plus fresh bread and pastries in the morning; in the evening, a reasonably priced restaurant with a pizzeria, very good and affordable. Sanitary facilities without electricity, but this was announced, and cleanliness was lacking.

Who gave this campsite four stars? You have to sleep wearing armour like the Templars so the mosquitoes do not eat you. And beware of the seagulls, which will take your hat or cap. The facilities are very dirty, and the motorhome pitches are poorly maintained.
