A paid car park in town, costing £6 until midnight rather than 24 hours. It has some road noise and slopes, while the nearby pub and funfair may add noise at times. Public toilets with hot water are a 5-minute walk away, but you should bring toilet paper. The town, Black Star pub, canal and river walks are nearby.

We arrived at 6pm. Put £6 in the machine expecting to stay 24 hrs as some had previously said. But no , it would run out at midnight. So would need to get up at midnight to put another £6 in. Went to the industrial estate.
Parked here 4-6-24 £6 for 24 hours car park was totally empty at 6pm it is on a slope but I parked across 4 bays with wheels on the curb to level out there is road noise but not excessive
