Municipal camper pitches at 1250m in Lauenen, on an asphalt lot with mountain and valley views but sloped in places and next to a manure heap. Basically a parking area with a toilet nearby, no other services on-site. Overnight stays are allowed with payment via the Park & Sleep mobile app; one traveller had a payment dispute and was fined despite trying to pay. Village, lake and nature nearby are scenic; the spot itself is more functional than pretty.

At least there is somewhere to spend the night. The space is very sloping, next to a manure heap. The value for money is not right. It is simply a car park, nothing more. Beautiful view of the mountains.Translating
The place is okay for spending the night, but not particularly attractive. The village, lake and nature are beautiful. We had problems with a woman from the municipality who did not accept our payment through the Park and Sleep app (tin snips!) and imposed a pointless parking fine on us…Translating
