Access is lengthy and rough, with important ground clearance; four-wheel drive is not essential, and a small river crossing may be required. The route is currently reachable from both the south and north.

A really, really great place! It takes some time to get here. However, we drove here without difficulty in our pickup with a pop-up camper. We really enjoyed the route through the forest. For directions, read the comment before mine. No rubbish or animals on the beach. Just the sea, the beach and the sun.Translating
Be careful when approaching from Kerasia: Google may navigate incorrectly. Turn left off the asphalt road onto the track 0.5 km before Ano Kerasia (signposted toward the church), not right 1 km earlier! This route is extremely washed out, and turning around is not easy either. Pay attention at the junctions along the way. The track is partly clay; when wet, four-wheel drive and good tires are required.Translating
Exactly what Japanner (comment below) said (because we were the other van :-)) Perfect spot for a couple of days. Bring water and food, as there is nothing close by. Keep it clean!!
Beautiful secluded beach. We spent 3 nights with another van. Few houses around but the neighbors waved friendly. No trash on the beach. Currently reachable from south and north, even after the heavy rain of last weeks/months. Small river crossing.
About 5 km after the last village, called Kerasia of Magnesia, you turn onto an unpaved, rocky road. From there it is another 21 km / 60 minutes. Whether it is worth it is for everyone to decide for themselves.Translating
It has been proven: access from the north is impossible. The road was destroyed by heavy rains in summer 2023. We tried, but 3.5 km before arriving we had to turn around because there is a ditch 1.5 m wide and 1.5 m deep. Three times we had to pull the vehicle (small pickup camper) out of a hole with the winch. Very risky. The round trip took us 6 hours.Translating
