469B Via Bolognese, 50139, Firenze
Been here?
A large, free, lighted public parking lot at a bus turning point, with more than 10 spaces and a view over Florence. The bus stop is 2 minutes away and buses run every 20 minutes. Recent overnight stays were quiet, although the cemetery and occasional bus activity are nearby; approach via the larger main road because smaller routes are very narrow.

Large public car park, free of charge. We arrived at 10 p.m.; there was already another camper van and two cars. We spent a quiet night there, with no noise. For access, it is better to stay on the larger main road; the Google Maps route suggested a smaller, VERY narrow mountain road that is challenging for large campers. Recommended place, we felt safe.
We spent the night here, with no incidents and no one bothering us. In the morning people came by to visit the cemetery. No hostile looks. The bus came once. Good place to stay overnight. Locals park their motorhomes here.
We parked here during the day while visiting Florence by electric bike. 10 km of continuous downhill to get there, with a magnificent view of the city below along the way. The return journey is easy by electric bike. We preferred to find another place for the night, fearing noise.
Very good for one night and for reaching Florence quickly. Quiet place despite being close to the road. No prohibition sign. Nevertheless, given the various comments about the surrounding towns, we preferred to park in a secure car park near Florence.
Quiet car park; we slept there for one night while passing through. The only drawback is the bus terminus opposite, where a bus arrives from time to time.
Ok stay, bus turning spot was ok but visiting small buses visit and sit there with their engines running (they must have to much money to waste) , it’s next to a cemetery so not for everyone great for catch the bus into Florence though
