This simple parking lot lies behind the former inner-German border at a former opencast mine. It offers views of the mine and the old border, with benches, a table, and a viewing telescope. Visitors have reported considerable litter, including rubbish placed in the telescope opening, and there is no litter bin.

It is such an interesting place, unfortunately visitors leave their rubbish lying around and even put it into the opening of the telescope that was specially installed there. What a shame; there are lovely benches and a table too, everything is very nicely arranged. That is why the place gets such a good rating from me; it cannot be blamed for the people who use it.
we stayed here for one night; around 10:30 p.m. young people gathered here. There are plenty of cigarette butts and rubbish, and no bin. But the sunrise and sunset are beautiful. It was enough for one night.
