Been here?
Large, flat gravel parking area near the forest, suitable for a quiet overnight stop. It is free and has a rubbish bin, but no other services. Forest walks, a large pond and a nearby fort ruin are accessible on foot. The area is usually calm, although it can be very noisy at weekends, and it is about 30 minutes from Calais.

Quiet parking area near the forest. Perfect for one night. Mobile network is just about available. Rubbish bin in the parking area. A forest walk starts not far away. Flat parking area; no need for levelling blocks.
Large gravel area in a green setting. It is quiet and safe to park here.
Had a quiet night. Perfect for one night.
perfect night here only 30 mins from Calais and the woods for dog walks.
Superb, surrounded by nature. There is a huge pond. A superb walk. No TV, of course, and no facilities because it’s free and not a motorhome campsite. Very noisy at the weekend.
Accessible again at the end of August 2025. The road is closed immediately afterwards, although locals continue driving to walk their dogs and so on. We parked very peacefully. No height restriction and plenty of space. There is a lovely walk to the nearby fort ruins, lake and surroundings. Great place before or after the ferry at Dunkirk! Happily again.
Currently inaccessible. Construction site and being used as a storage area.
We stayed here very quietly for one night. You need to be aware that it is very isolated, but we nevertheless felt very safe. Many locals walk their dogs here in the morning and evening. One of them recommended this place to us for an overnight stay when we asked him about it.
Quiet spot with no light at night. There is forest all around.
