Been here?
This is a large, flat parking area directly beside the excavations at the Illyrian settlement of Amantia, offering quiet nights, natural surroundings, and wide views. It is a good base for visiting the archaeological site and nearby hikes; entrance costs 300 Leke per person. The final 200 m is gravel, behind the ticket booth on the left. After rain, the area can become swampy and impassable without 4x4.

Unfortunately, in the rain it becomes a swamp and is impossible to drive on without 4x4. We arrived around 11 p.m. and immediately got stuck in the entrance. So check the ground conditions beforehand.
We spent a starry night in the car park not far from the excavations. Lots of dogs.
Very good place for one night!
Great place to sleep, surrounded by lots of nature, sheep, donkeys and horses. Unfortunately, we had to leave during the night because a forest fire broke out on the mountain opposite. During the summer months, be careful in mountain regions!
Lovely stopover! Starry quiet night. Lots of goats pass by and friendly locals. First 17km SH76 to Templene from Sevaster via Dorez quite rough and suitable only for vehicles with high ground clearance. Tarmac starts again at Besi restaurant near Sinanaj
