A large forest parking lot beside the Frauenau Dam and an excellent starting point for hikes. Drinking water is available free on site, while the toilets are free from 18h to 21h. Overnight stays are not allowed here because only designated pitches in the national park may be used. There is no internet or mobile reception, although Starlink works.

Basically really good, but: as everywhere in the national park, overnight stays are only allowed in designated places. Unfortunately, this isn’t one of them. Also: ZERO internet—neither Vodafone nor Telekom. Starlink works.
