80 Land van Rodelaan, 9050, Gent
Been here?
A large daytime parking lot under a highway bridge, useful for visiting Ghent but with overnight stays prohibited. It is noisy from traffic and trains, often busy, and spaces may be limited, so arriving early is advisable. The tram, town, bakery and grocery store are nearby, while the city centre is about a 20-minute walk.

Perfect for parking outside the low emission zone with a tram stop over the road. Very busy, arrive early, we turned up at 1pm and got the last space.
Ideal for visiting the city. Motorhomes park at the back. The Line 2 tram stop to the city center is 3 minutes away. Dogs are allowed.Translating
Very good parking spot for visiting Ghent. Shaded under the bridge during the day. The city is easy to reach by bicycle.Translating
Good tip. We stayed here during the day, so the noise did not bother us. 15 minutes by bike to the historic city centre. And we felt safe. Wonderful.Translating
Ideal for visiting Ghent during the day. At 200 metres you can take tram 2. A ticket costs €2.50 and can be bought from the machine near the tram. You can choose your language. 20 minutes by tram, perfect. There is space to park. No suspicious people around. Everything went well. But it is noisy because the motorway passes directly overhead.Translating
Well-located parking for visiting Ghent. You can reach the city centre from Gentbrugge station or by bus 11 for €2.50 per journey. Noisy but free parking, which at least exists.Translating
A somewhat noisy place; there is a motorway and railway above. If you do not mind that ;)Translating
Great free parking just outside Ghent. Walked into Ghent in about 35 minutes. Can also get the tram. Just be wary that parking could be limited. We arrived about lunch time and got the last spot. Would use it again.
Perfect free parking to explore Ghent, lots of other vans here, it is quite noisy due to trains and traffic, but that didn't bother me, it felt safe staying here. 'Gentbrugge P R E17' is right next to this parking spot, from here you can get the tram into the city centre for €5 return ticket, It only takes around 5 minutes. Highly recommend!
There were considerably more than 10 spaces there and, since we were there on a Saturday, probably less busy than on weekdays when commuters occupy more spaces. Several motorhomes were parked there. We did not use it overnight, only for visiting the city. From there it is about 5 km by bicycle. As usual with park-and-rides, there are no parking fees! No height issues under the bridge.Translating
A place for visiting the city of Gent. It’s just on the right side of border of the Gent “milioezon”. Tram no. 2 will take you to the old town. You pay inside the tram by credit card. To noisy for staying overnight, but besides of that it’s fully doable.
Free parking only for visiting the city, not for sleeping; too noisy with the bridge above.Translating
Do not come to spend the night: the noise is deafening and oppressive. Parking for visiting only, nothing more.Translating
It's free and we felt perfectly safe overnight as it's well-lit and a busy area. But, as others have said it is noisy. If you're a deep sleeper, you'll be fine
Very good plenty of parking spaces ,the only minus is train going near by see the photos. Thank you
Excellent free parking for spending the day in Ghent! The tram is very close. I would not park in the area because it is very far away.Translating
