Great stop for a hike in Oulanka National Park. Quiet parking area with clean toilets, fresh drinking water and good access to the trails. Perfect for a day visit. Please note that overnight camping is not allowed here, so respect the rules and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
Parking for national park info building and hiking trails. Check out the parking area map while driving in. Camping forbidden. The signs are only in Finnish ("Leiriytyminen kielletty").
The tap water comes out with good pressure and is nice and cool. The dry toilets are clean.
We were there today. There is a “no camping” sign at the entrance. The area specifically intended for campers and motorhomes is only for parking, not overnight stays. Wild camping is also prohibited throughout the national park.
