Shady corner beside an old gravel pit and lake, with a small, lightly used road directly behind it. It can work for a short daytime stop or overnight stay, but recent comments report factory noise, industrial hum, and noticeable road noise from the N57. Swimming in the lake is prohibited. Recent comments also mention rubbish in the bushes.

Clearly defined place; no problem spending the night. Lovely spot beside a lake, a shame that nature is not respected!! Rubbish in the bushes.
good for a daytime park up, quite a lot of noise coming from the nearby factory so didn't feel it would be good for the night.
Stopped for a short rest on Wednesday afternoon. Nice spot by the water and there’s some shade between the trees. But there was a constant whining noise or hum, presumably from a nearby industrial setting.
Very good for a lunch stop. Beside a road near an industrial area.
Shade is relative ;-). Good for one night, relatively quiet; you can hear the N57 quite clearly. Swimming in the lake is prohibited.

It looks nothing like the pictures. Road noise, factory noise and several school classes in the morning walking noisily right past the van.
