La Fuente del Abanico is a shaded recreational area with picnic tables and barbecues, beside both a road and a railway line. It is better suited to stopping for a meal than sleeping, because of the nearby traffic and trains. The fountain no longer flowed in the latest report. Fires are banned from June 1 to October 1.

Late August 2023, the fountain no longer flows. Furthermore, this is not really a place to sleep but rather to eat, as it is between the road and the railway line. We preferred to sleep at the cemetery.
A place to stop, with drinking water, very close to the road. It has picnic areas and plenty of shade.
Perfect stop for resting with children. Drinking water from the fountain and an outdoor sensory music area. Quiet and peaceful.
Local people come here for walks, but it is peaceful, with a fountain, shade and tables. We spent the night without any problems.
