A beautiful campsite with large pitches, an on-site cafe and activities including wild swimming, paddle boarding and kayaking. Hire is available onsite, or you can bring your own equipment, and walking is possible nearby. The clean, adequate sanitary facilities may have too few showers when the campsite is busy. Bodiam Castle and a lovely steam railway are nearby.

A very lovely setting for this campsite. Very quiet night. However, the welcome is not warm at all. I almost felt as though I was a nuisance. The sanitary facilities are adequate, but if the campsite is busy, the number of showers may be a little insufficient. The pluses: proximity to the castle. Worth visiting! and a walk along the river.Translating
Very simple but beautiful site, where everyone has their own fire bowl. Firewood is available at the café. The surroundings offer plenty to do and the sanitary facilities are clean. There was also a warm welcome … what more could you want?Translating
