Been here?
A spacious, shaded village park suitable for overnight parking, with a playground, water points, toilets and bins. The lake is nearby and visible from the tower stairs, although the tower may be locked. Nights are usually very calm, with occasional young people gathering and playing some music. The toilet block may need cleaning, and bins have sometimes overflowed.

Peace and shade, a paradise after visiting Thessaloniki. Village park with trees and shaded areas. Several water points. From the tower stairs you can just see the lake.Translating
Beautiful, quiet place. Water point with good water pressure.Translating
Great spot to park overnight, nice park for children, water fountains and lots of space and quiet. The bathrooms could definitely use a cleaning but was overall a great spot!
Ice open space with playground and shade. Faucets all around. A bit isolated. The tower was locked.
Very good spot; the people here are lovely and really like the French, so we received nothing but compliments. There is water and a toilet. Very quiet at night. Perfect for recharging your batteries. Lots of space. We felt really safe and left the area around us clean.Translating
One of the best places in Greece for wild camping. Friendly residents who like to stop by for a chat in the evening. Thank you for a relaxing night.Translating
There are four men here who maintain the entire park as volunteers, including planting new trees. We gave one of them a multitool set for small repairs and an Appenzeller Biberli… he was absolutely delighted! Ask locally for one of these men; they look forward to meeting you.Translating
peaceful in nature, we spent a lovely night here, plenty of space, the toilet block is where you empty your cassette. The toilet block may not be very clean, but not bad as it is free!
For me, a great place! However, anyone who is picky about a few teenagers might be disappointed. In the evening, the village youth gathered there and did the usual things young people do, such as playing a little music, etc., but in my opinion it wasn’t excessive and the campers were not bothered… From 9 p.m. it was quiet, and the night was quiet too!Translating
Very nice pitch; unfortunately, the bins are overflowing. A gathering point for young people—no noise, but cans and beer bottles left on the ground after they leave. Toilet for the cassette with a water hose for rinsing.Translating
A nice car park for day and night. Suitable for larger motorhomes. Water, toilet and rubbish bins available. We didn’t find the disposal point. Die EurobummlerTranslating
Good, quiet, clean parking near the lake. Public toilets and rubbish bins available, as well as water, a playground for children, and walks in the countryside. Good for one night.Translating
Amazing place to spend some time in the nature. Extremely quiet during the night. It is free municipal comping with all necessary facilities.
The site offers enough space even for large motorhomes. There are several water connections and a toilet that was open. There is also a nice playground and some benches. In the town there is a small supermarket, about five minutes’ walk away. We did not find the grey-water disposal point.Translating
Nice place to spend the night at this abandoned campsite. The lake certainly had much more water before and reached the low wall that now descends into reeds. It brings the Aral Sea to mind. There is water in the toilets and also a gully for grey water (you have to search a little).Translating
Lovely and quiet. Squat toilet. Playground. It was difficult to see the lake because of the high grass, but nice green calm area.
Convenient: water, rubbish bins and a picnic table are available. Easy access and large concrete parking area.Translating
A beautiful place near the lake and less than 30 kilometers from Thessaloniki.
Great, peaceful, water, bins
We stayed for two nights; there is water and a playground, and the locals are very friendly.Translating
A very pleasant place; we spent two nights here. There are some stray dogs, but they are all peaceful. There is a fountain with good water pressure, and in the town itself there are cafés and shops, as everywhere. You can walk to the lake, but it is very far because the route passes through a marshland. We would still come back.Translating
Only accessible with a maximum weight of 3.5 tonnes! All roads around the lakes are closed to heavier campers, probably for environmental protection. ChatGPT says that in Greece, fines of €1,000 can be imposed if you use such a road anyway, especially since there is also a Natura 2000 protected landscape.Translating
Very good location; there is a free camping area on the grass, which we did not use. We were in the car park at the back and spent a very good night there. A few cars pass during the day, but it is not disruptive.Translating
Everything is great, water pressure is excellent, lots of space and a nice playground. Many thanks to the municipality.Translating
Great place, but I was there on a Friday, and apparently that is when the village youth meet. The eastern part of the site is probably a little quieter. The water fountain was on and clean water was available.Translating
Quiet and shaded place. The toilets are in an area reserved for tents. Bring a lamp because there is no lighting. We spent one night here before taking the boat to Thessaloniki, ideal for a peaceful stay. The downside is the mosquitoes, but that is not surprising near the lake. And above all, it is provided by the village and free.Translating
Great place to sleep. The next morning we met the person in charge—I’ll call him the caretaker—who spoke good German and assured us that campers are allowed to stay in the municipality without any problem. There were also a few people camping in tents on the meadow, some of them already there for weeks. So, perfect. There is also fresh water and a toilet block.Translating
We spent one night in this park/car park. Very pleasant; at the end of the day the locals arrive, and around 9–10 p.m. everyone leaves, so we were alone. Clean facilities, a few stray but friendly dogs, and picnic tables. Indeed, the lake is not visible, but it is a lovely spot.
Stayed here for one night, everything was ok. Quiet, lake is not visible from parking.
There is still plenty of space to park. We stayed two nights and everything was quiet. We didn’t see any stray dogs. We recommend the nearby restaurant with its beautiful terrace under the trees. It was delicious and the welcome was warm. It is still possible to fill up with water. Thank you to the municipality!
Very large site, not far from the road. Easily accessible even for large vehicles. Part of the site is lit. It is very quiet at night, except possibly on weekends. There are several water points and the locals are very friendly. You can also take beautiful walks directly from the site.
The only decent place in 30 min approximity of Thessaloniki that is green, has shades, water and peaceful. Very much recommended even on weekend but keep it clean.
Comfortable parking for a stopover. Flat, very accessible fountain, clean toilets where we were able to empty grey and black water. Playground. Very well-maintained place. Thanks to the local staff!
Excellent, very quiet. We arrived at night; in the morning I discovered a beautiful, peaceful place in nature. I would happily have stayed another night for the serenity.
