Quiet estuary parking, occasional trains

Very beautiful and quiet, with lots of space for dogs on the grass. You can also swim in the canal, as many people do.

Great place for an overnight stay. Enough space for 10 or more vans. A train passes occasionally, but I did not hear it at night or in the morning. Many dog owners come here to walk.

Shocked to see campervans set up in the farmers field & with tents too! Total disrespect to the land, the area, locals & the Farmer. Sadly I think this lovely spot will be stopped very soon if people don't show more respect. We have been coming here regularly for a few years, close to town yet feeling remote. Stunning view, absolutely no facilities, but a safe park up. The trains are noisy

Excellent place for free, very quiet and (sort of) remote. There are plenty of spaces at the end in the parking area, and many lay-by all the way up the road (little more privacy). There are some small bins at the top. It’s not a through road so the only traffic are people visiting the area. Plenty of dog walkers but people are friendly enough. Please take your rubbish and respect locals!!!!!! :)

Daily bridge tywyn well I think I'll these comments are incorrect ad today as a local resident taking my dogs for s walk a motorhome parked in has gone and left 3 full black bin bags of rubbish so it makes me wonder where have they emptied their waste water and toilet waste no respect at for our cows sheep or dogs or even local walkers so slowly you are poisoning our animals you should be a

Lovely place to park with a lovely walk. We heard the train a couple of times during the night, but it went straight past. We had some boy racers, but they did not stay long and left us alone. Good internet. There is a rubbish bin. We will be back.

Really nice free spot ,which seems to be a rare thing in wales .popular with dog walkers for good reason ,train goes by every so often .bin available .co-op in wee village along the road .5* because free ain’t a thing in wales ,dead end so no traffic flying past .

lovely spot. lovely walks along estuary and beach. very tranquil. there is singletrack rail line close by, but trains are infrequent and don't run overnight. I would definitely recommend and I would come again.

Beautiful scenery, a lovely quiet spot. Only an occasional train and dog walkers. One bin. Only ruined by excess dog poo, please pick it up!!!! I picked up extra!

nice and quiet place , stayed one night with one other van , a little windy but it didn't bother us too much, plenty of dog walkers in the evening and morning, close to beach, will definitely use this spot again

There are no special services, but the view is great and it's quiet. It's easily accessible. We slept well with several camper vans. It's also a great place for a walk along the beach.

Acceptable for a night or two. Unfortunately very windy during my stay with nowhere to seek shelter. Small 2-carriage train passes each hour or so except for a few hours overnight. Bin available by the bridge.

We’ve spent three nights here and loved it. A few minutes walk from an amazing beach. Dogs had a great time. Trains pass regularly but we barely notice them. Loads of locals in their inflatable boats which are fun to watch. Felt very safe and secure. Many people left their chairs out for the night. You have to be fully self contained.

Great spot, there is access to the beach under the bridge. at high tide you will need to walk through the water but it is shallow. Quiet, spacious, amazing sunrises. Shops in Tywyn for supplies. Keep it clean so it can be used for many years!

Lovely location. Fairly busy during the day with walkers and cyclists but quiet during the night. Stayed here with a few other campers. Right next to the train tracks, so can be about noisy. Direct acces to the water for a paddle and a swim The road is a dead end, although there is some space near the end, if you're longer than 8m you might struggle to turn around if it's crowded

To anyone that says access to the beach depends on low tide is wrong. There is access if you go north towards a small train station. Follow the footpath signs through 3 metal gates and you'll get to the beach. Good 4g at park up, quiet, loads of walking space nearby. One of the best out there for us!

Access to the beach only at low tide. We did not like it and drove on. Still two stars because the view over the countryside is quite nice and the ground is level.

Very peaceful parkup (minus the odd train here and there). Lots of other vans there and it was really clean. Lets keep it this way!

Nice spot for staying one night and walking in nature inland. However, the sea is a little far away. If the bin is full, keep your rubbish with you.

We love this little spot, views inland awesome and nature and bird life tremendous. We have been approached this AM by a lovely local lady, questioning us how we knew about the park up, asking if we know where the closest camper service point is, (as she has seen video evidence of someone emptying there toilet outdoors), Please everyone respect the beauty and do not spoil it for others.

We came here based on reviews that it's the most beautiful p4n spot. Its not... in one direction the river does lead to the mountains which are pretty beautiful, but the other direction is a lot of metal fencing and coastal barriers. You may be able to get to the beach, but it's not that close and not clear how you get there. It's not a bad spot, but there are more beautiful elsewhere nearby.

Good spot. Felt safe. Could hear the waves but it has no sea view. Lovely view inland though and good dog walking. Bin by the footbridge. Popular with dog walkers so there are cats in the morning. We stayed on a Friday night so prob busier than normal. No issues. Good over spot. Would stay again.

Regularly stay here, such a beautiful and peaceful spot. Needs to be looked after so we can all return again and again. If the bin by the bridge is full, just take your rubbish with you!

Probably the most beautiful P4N stop we've had so far! We had a peaceful night, a few trains in the early evening, but not too loud. Woke up to stunning views! I hope people look after this spot so it's not restricted in the future. would definitely stay again and recommend to respectful self-sufficient vanners.

Great overnight stop. Beautiful walks with the dogs. Peaceful and windy; we could see lots of stars last night because it is so dark here. Sheep for neighbours and the occasional train passing by. You can easily walk to the sea along the pebbles. Great recommendations from P4N users.

I spent a quiet night there. During the day I went for a walk, which I also really enjoyed. Many dog owners come here throughout the day, so it is not very quiet during the daytime.

Fantastic place to stop for the night. Quiet and beautiful views to wake up to. Occasional evening train then silence. Just under 2 miles into centre of Tywyn which is a charming place with several cafes, the most wonderful old cinema, second hand book shop and St Cadfan’s church housing the Cadfan Stone.
