Camping Holsteenbron

Stayed here for 2 nights with the camper for €77.20, including electricity which we did not need. You have to pay separately for a hot shower and washing-up water. We were sworn at by a permanent resident who loudly ranted about someone smoking a cigarette, instead of simply approaching us personally... it felt quite intimidating. We did not have a good feeling, and the price was a little excessive.

Very beautiful, small, quiet campsite in a nature reserve with a lovely pond. Very nice, large, marked-out pitches. Check-in is possible from 1 p.m. Very hot water in the shower, despite having to pay for lukewarm washing-up water. Beautiful cycling and walking paths. Child-friendly Reindeer Hunters’ Path walk! Electric-vehicle charging point in the municipal car park next to the entrance. We will definitely come back!!!

Beautiful small campsite among the trees by a nature reserve. Everyone is very friendly and it is peaceful and quiet. A gem, especially for a few days. Beautiful fishing pond, everything neat and clean. Sanitary facilities fine! Cafeteria with terrace and sometimes a food truck. The pitch we stayed on was 7 m deep, so it was just enough, but very wide. Hot water costs extra. Electricity 6A.

Beautiful campsite in the green, directly beside cycling and walking paths. Friendly reception and excellent facilities. We paid €42 for one night with three people. Hot water costs extra. It works with a card. Not very convenient: it takes a while for the water to get hot and the meter keeps running…

October 2023 - Nestled in the middle of nature, this campsite is ideally located for exploring tourist attractions. The pitches are not very large and are separated by 1.5-metre-high hedges. Bring a long electrical extension cable, as the connection points are quite far apart. Electric bikes are available for hire. Food is available on site. Sanitary facilities are adequate.

Very nice and clean camp. There are also trails for hikes.

Beautiful place, in the middle of nature, with a small lake inside. Welcoming, kind and helpful staff. New and clean bathrooms, sinks and showers.

Perfect campsite. Modern sanitary facilities, cafeteria with lots of Belgian beer and small dishes (pizza, etc.) delivered to the pitch. Bread service in the morning.

Really great campsite! Beautiful spacious pitches, all the necessary facilities available, wonderful surroundings by a large nature reserve and friendly staff ☝️. We will definitely come back!
