A small, quiet and mostly flat gravel parking area beside a church offers countryside views and overnight stays. It is convenient for visiting Newgrange, while the official site car park prohibits sleeping and closes at 6.15 p.m. in summer. There are no services, and the church area should be kept clear during Saturday evening Mass.

Very good! Quiet in the countryside and not far from the Newgrange site. Small gravel car park next to a chapel. It is better to park on the chapel side to avoid “disturbing” the residential house.
No other campers here now. Visit Newgrange nearby, but you need to have booked tickets online well in advance. It is currently almost fully booked for an entire month!
Quiet and peaceful overnight Church carpark. Stayed after visiting Newgrange and the Battle of the Boyne Museum. Locals are super friendly. Mass is on a Saturday evening so we made sure we moved the motorhome so locals could park. Took our rubbish with us. Thank you to Rosnaree Church and the Community for your kindness.
Small car park between church and bungalow. Picked up rubbish on arrival to prevent blame on departure. Parked adjacent church to be distance from bungalow. Quite and handy for Newgrange brú na bóine visit tomorrow.

Good stopover; please use the area at the back, as Masses are held at 6 p.m. and the car park fills up. The neighbours are super friendly. Wonderful views and peace and quiet.
Quiet and 5 minutes from the Newgrange visitor centre. Flat parking area, ideal for an overnight stop. No problems, excellent stop.
This is the second time we have slept here. The church car park is small but very quiet and fairly flat. Perfect for visiting Newgrange the next day.
A wonderful place. We asked the neighbours whether we could park here. A very friendly family. We stayed 3 nights and took bicycle trips to Newgrange (well worth it) and Slane. In Slane, we recommend the Gorgeous patisserie.

Very peaceful night on this quiet car park. We spoke to the lady who lives next door and she was very pleasant - more than happy for motorhomes to stay here overnight. Some have already mentioned the street light but it's not an issue if you park so that the light doesn't come in.
18/08/2024 Good place to sleep before going to Newgrange the next day, although if you don’t have a ticket you can only do the exterior tour if you’re lucky—which is still very good.
Quiet night, no noise. We were one motorhome and one van. The local residents kindly say hello while walking their dogs.
Very good. The ground is flat. The neighbours are welcoming. 4G/5G reception is difficult but available. A lovely quiet night. We were one motorhome and one van.
