65 Maaseiker Straße, 41844, Wegberg
Been here?
This simple circular motorhome area is at the edge of Wegberg, with the town centre and parks about 400 m away. Water, electricity and waste disposal are available, and a swimming ticket is included. Reservations are recommended because there are few spaces. Entry is through a barrier, and the key system can be cumbersome; toilets and showers are in the neighbouring indoor pool.

Simple site; you can reserve and receive a ticket for swimming. We live nearby, and there aren’t many spaces, so reserving is better. The key system is good but cumbersome.
Small, no-frills motorhome area, but complete and functional in terms of services. Grass pitches marked on the ground by blue posts. There are two permanent residents on site, both very friendly and welcoming. One speaks French, Dutch, German and Flemish and was very helpful and full of good advice (thanks again). Quiet location within walking distance of the town centre.
Quiet location, waste disposal available, water and electricity too, friendly neighbours, and a free swimming-pool ticket.
I have to write something here too. We visit this site often, like most people. Because it is beautiful and family-friendly, everyone likes coming back. The two permanent campers are very kind and helpful. They provide information and assistance to anyone who asks—from information about checking in to repairing a woman’s torn electricity cable. We’ve experienced everything here. We clearly recommend it!
Unfortunately, worth only one star at most. Some permanent campers do not want other campers on this site, say so openly and behave accordingly. No toilet or shower on site, only in the neighbouring indoor swimming pool, about 500 metres away. We will only return in the most extreme circumstances. What a shame!
We wanted to park there for one night, but it was already full, and after 4 p.m. there is no one around to let you through the barrier.
Good that someone finally mentioned the smoke nuisance at the parking area. We found it annoying too. Such a beautifully located site with bike-friendly surroundings—what a shame.
we stopped here overnight en route to Poland. it was easy to find and had electricity hook up for €2. it has barrier entry which could be a problem if you arrive late at night, however there are some people who are there long term and are so wonderfully helpful and obliging it was no problem. we deliberately stayed here on the way back.
Unfortunately, several motorhomes have been here for a long time, and on Sunday evening they were chatting and laughing together. That in itself is not a problem, but they made us feel as though we were on their property. Immediately upon arrival, someone snapped at us from a motorhome; we couldn’t park in the first empty space because friends were supposedly coming (they never did). The site is also next to a main road with a lot of traffic noise.
Cash only, but they charge a €20 deposit. Welcome to the Stone Age. I drove on.
A somewhat neglected site, but otherwise excellent!! Everything you need is there; water and waste disposal are included in the €10 price, electricity costs €1 for 2 kWh. Waste disposal only costs extra if you don’t stay overnight. Admission to the pool is free for one person! Our car had to go in the car park, but we are allowed to stay here with the caravan. Many thanks, we’ll gladly return and recommend the site.
Simple parking area, but everything necessary is available at a fair price. Electricity at €1 for 2 kWh is also excellent. It was great to be able to use the indoor pool next door for early swimming from 6:30 a.m. With the parking ticket, one person gets free admission, but €3.50 for adults at this lovely pool is more than reasonable. Thank you to the municipality.
Simple parking area. It has everything you need. The barrier can only be opened with a key obtained from the indoor pool or, when it is closed, from the fire station/fire brigade. A €20 deposit is charged for the key and refunded when it is returned. Electricity is not included!! There are two electricity pillars on site and they only accept €1 coins. Thanks to the municipality of Wegberg.
