City parking, theft concerns

I live in Belfast, don't park here overnight

A pretty doggy area. Stayed for the day as it is close to everything. I wouldn't be comfortable staying overnight.

this felt safe with CCTV cameras and a great location to explore Belfast and visit local pubs with live music in the evening. However be very careful, we woke early and discovered someone stealing our eScooters which were chained up & locked outside our van out of main sight my husband followed the thief & threatened to take photos and call police & he abandoned theft attempt. we were lucky

We felt safe. The police also patrolled here at night. From around 10 p.m. we were the only ones in the huge parking area. We found that strange, but stayed for 2 nights because it was practical and also quiet. Only on the third day at noon did we discover injection needles and other things behind the van. That was an unpleasant feeling. But nothing happened to the car.

Super-central parking area; the famous Commercial Court with its old pubs is only a few minutes’ walk away. Clearly, the parking lot is not beautiful and completely unsuitable for camping, but the van is safe and, at £11.50 per 24 hours, it is very central for exploring the nightlife and then sleeping. You can hear music from the surrounding pubs, which must not bother you. We felt safe!

Solo travelling female. I stayed here for 1 night sun/mon. not a place that gives up very good vibes. when I arrived the area was almost empty. police came for a patrol and recommended to look for another spot further out. went into the city (convenient parking for that) when I came back decided to stay the night. no issues, slept well. bit noisy and there is definitely drug consumption.

Cheap and very well located in the heart of an area full of urban murals and 15 minutes from the city center. However, the parking is chaotic, the ground is full of potholes, dirty (needles and other rubbish scattered on the ground) and does not inspire much confidence. We stayed for 4 hours (£4) while visiting the city and everything was fine when we returned.

Works if you have a normal sized car but absolutely impossible for a camper. All of the cars were parking over the lines and blocking cars in.

Very central, and from 11 p.m. until around 6 a.m. there was complete peace and quiet. We slept excellently.
