Been here?
This is a spacious, calm parking area beside the ruins of the Knights Templar commandery, with easy access for a 7m motorhome. It is shaded and offers toilets, but no other services; the picnic table is reportedly dilapidated. The site is near the village bakery and has no passing main road, while the ruins provide historical interest.

Easy access with a 7 m motorhome. Quiet, shaded, toilets. Beautiful sunset over the Abbey ruins. But no view from the car park.
Access to the spot is very easy, in a quiet and relaxing place. The surroundings are pleasant and perfect for unwinding. However, the toilets were inaccessible and the picnic table is dilapidated. A historic monument is right next to it, which adds charm to the place.
Superb spot next to the ruins of the Templar commandery. No busy road, very spacious for large motorhomes.
Quiet, clean and almost flat—excellent! A small bin is provided. Thanks for this spot, where we discovered the history of the place.
Really interesting and pleasant place to spend a night surrounded by history. Toilets available, definitely worth taking the time to explore the Commanderie. Thanks to local area for allowing vans here, no services so must be self sufficient. Please keep this place clean!
We confirm last year’s positive comments. We appreciate that access is still open to motorhomes.
what a lovely spot! we stopped for lunch & so glad we did. picnic table and parking. the view is absolutely stunning. a real slice of history to see
A very quiet and peaceful night, super clean parking, beautiful view of the surrounding countryside near the Templar Commandery. Toilets open and very clean, with the possibility of taking some drinking water. Damn, it’s Monday and the bakery is closed!! Thanks to Vaour for allowing us to park here overnight.
