Quiet gravel site, blocked disposal

Great free spot. No water hose for water connection so will need your own. Also a short steep hill getting into parking to be aware of

I give it a 5 because it is possible to find a flat area. 15 minutes from the beach. With FREE water filling and emptying. On the Asturian coast, it’s a gift. Thanks to the town council. The only thing is the usual issue: let’s be a little more considerate. Chairs, tables, awnings… it will end up being closed. That’s all. The bakery is a luxury.

Perfect area, quiet, with a large capacity for around 40–50 vehicles, gravel but level, and all services free: water, grey-water and black-water disposal.

We had a spectacular night. Quiet place with room for 40 or 50 caravans/campers, but we arrived at 8 p.m. and only 3 spaces were left. A caravan that arrived at 11 p.m. parked right in the middle of the open area. Incredible stars. Water tap and rubbish containers.

What a shame, we never learn: foreigners putting out awnings, etc. Also, the cassette emptying point was blocked for two days. On the first day, the town hall was informed—thanks—and they immediately unblocked and cleaned it, but the next day it happened again. I was shocked to find it full of wipes. Ugh, they’re ruining it…..

Large area with the necessary services. Just up the hill on the nearby road there is a bakery with excellent products. A little far from the center, but the site is very peaceful.

Comfortable and free area, 20 minutes’ walk from the beach. This morning I saw the staff cleaning the service area. Good phone coverage with Iliad, quiet night, little noise from the bakery above, Alimerka supermarket nearby. Recommended.

I give it two stars because it is a large area, but the black-, grey- and fresh-water areas are disgusting: faeces on the ground, the fresh-water tap contaminated (not potable, do not drink), and waste dumped on the emptying platform. Be careful with the area; phone coverage is very low with all operators.

Perfect area for us: level, spacious and quiet in the middle of a very green area. We had no factory noise or other disturbance. Recommended. Water point with a small-diameter threaded tap. Services available. One drawback, however: the area could use a little cleaning! Thanks to the municipality!

Stayed for 2 nights, lots of vans, arrive all hours. Easy bike walk to beach and town. Panderia above the aire. Very hot as in full sun most of day and little breeze. Couldn’t use the service point as despite the clear signs someone had emptied their toilet onto the fresh water area, blocking the drain with faeces and toilet paper. tables chairs clothes lines put out, dogs children run around

Thanks for the services. A large shaded open area, but noise comes from a nearby industrial building. If you find a spot at the far end, you might sleep. I continued on my way.

This area has all the basic services and a quiet night. A little outside the village, which is worth seeing.

Very clean motorhome area, in a good, quiet location. The services are excellent. It is 2.5 km from the town, but it is a lovely walk along the seafront. Thanks to the town council for this valuable opportunity for us motorhome users.

Very decent and spacious spot. Clean and with what is needed for services, including a water point. 20 minutes from the beach and the small town of Ribadesella, worth visiting for its lovely seafront houses and hotels. No noise at night. Thanks to the municipality.

Take the road to Suances campsite; it is easier to get there. The entrance is awful and steep. The night was quiet, far from the village; go by bicycle or motorbike.

Terrible, 2 kilometers from the village, when there are plenty of places to park. But it is forbidden. Where we are not wanted, we do not spend our money.

Calm and peaceful. Completely safe. Plenty of spaces available at the end of the day at this time of year. Indeed, it is easier to enter the parking area through the “exit.” A stop highly recommended.

Please treat EVERY place as you would want to find it yourself! When we arrived, the toilet-disposal point was blocked and full of toilet paper and faeces... Fortunately, it was clear again the next day. We had a quiet and lovely night on the site and could take a nice walk through the town from there. Thank you for providing this place for campers!

Quiet, level and large area, good for spending the night. A reprimand for the filthy person who emptied the toilet into the clean-water fountain… We later ate there and were very peaceful as well.

Shame we didn’t think to photograph the service point. Toilets are emptied into the upper basin; we used a zip tie to open the panel. We cleaned the outlet under the water tap, which was completely blocked.

A wonderful, clean and very quiet place. Rubbish bins, water fountain and grey-water disposal. The entrance may be a little steep for motorhomes, but it is only a 3-meter slope. This was our first camper trip and hopefully all places will be like this.

Enter through the exit. At the village sports center you can take a hot shower for €1.80.

A great place with services (everything except electricity). “The site is very clean, please keep it clean!!” A big thank-you to the town! On foot: 17 minutes to the promenade and beach, 25 minutes to the coastal dinosaur footprints, visible at low tide, and 40 minutes to the town. The town is very beautiful, with decorated houses, small lanes and a long sandy beach—small and lovely!

Recommended and quiet area.

Great free stop right next to the campsite. Everything worked well and there was plenty of space. Good place to walk into town, do a bit of shopping and visit the Cuevas del Tito Bustillo Thank you Ribadesella for providing this!

Today all services are working as of this date. Please park diagonally!

It is a little outside Ribadesella, about a 40-minute walk from the center, but for us, looking for peace and quiet and somewhere to put our tables outside for dinner, it was perfect. There are grey- and black-water facilities and a place to refill. You can walk to the neighboring village, seeing plenty of nature along the way. It was very good for us.

Good place but very far from everything. We arrived and left.

Very large and flat parking with emptying point. We stopped for an hour with one other van. Seemed perfectly OK for a quiet night but we had already booked the Campsite adjacent (which was really nice if you prefer some creature comforts).

The tap for cleaning the cassette is broken, so everyone uses the filling tap for cleaning. In March it is quiet, with plenty of spaces available.

I think the place is great; it is clean and quiet. Thanks to the municipality.

I read some motorhome users’ reviews complaining that it is dirty and smells of faeces, and blaming the town hall as well. I disagree. If campers had a little more civic sense and respect for the municipality and for one another, the place would be clean. Clean up your own mess and don’t blame the municipal employees, because they are the ones who deserve our sympathy.

Area very far from an urban center to visit the town. Area of private residences and houses far from the village. We did not like it at all; as soon as we arrived, we left for another motorhome area.

Large area on a gravel style road, area feels quiet and no major roads immediately near by. Has drinking water for free and a place to clean/empty the cassette toilet. All were in good order when we stopped off

I had some doubts because of the latest comments, but everything was very, very clean, sanitized and perfectly usable. We arrived at night and there was no lighting at all, hence 4 stars, but it was very quiet for sleeping.

A very quiet night. The area was clean. In the morning, municipal workers were cleaning with a pressure washer.
