Been here?
This is a small natural parking area for 2/3 campers near a Capuchin monastery, with trees and grass. Some road noise is audible during the day, and the area can become crowded. A sign prohibits camping, and unattended campers should not be left there because theft has been reported.

The only natural spot in the area. A little noise from the nearby road. Sign prohibiting camping. The carabinieri came by with a flashlight, probably to check that we had not spread out too much, and said nothing to us. There were four campers. But what heat! And a few mosquitoes.
Like many places in Italy: overcrowded. There is also a lot of traffic on the surrounding roads. It does the job, given the limited options in the area!
Finally, a fairly quiet spot with a little nature nearby. We had been driving from Milan; none of the spots appealed to us, just concrete car parks along the road. It is quieter here (you can hear the road a little during the day), with trees and grass.
Warning: do not leave the camper unattended; they steal even during the day.
