Car park, motorhomes prohibited

The car park on sand and grass is closed by a barrier; motorhomes are prohibited, as confirmed by technical-services staff. You have to use the neighbouring car park. Take the oversized-vehicle car park; see the photos. Free from September to June. On Thursday evening, noise from the Le Zip nightclub continued late into the night. On the other hand, it’s very good for visiting Vannes, with a cycle or walking path along the harbour.

Finally, a car park for motorhomes. There are two car parks with 2 m height barriers, and between them an “oversized vehicle” car park. Very good for motorhomes.

Parking for cars only because of the 2 m barrier. 100 m further on, after the canal, there is a small car park accessed via the driveway leading to the fire station. Price for 24 hours: €7.30, payable by card or app.

You can’t enter; there is a 2 m barrier. Turning right at this roundabout, there is a large car park that is free at night. A little far from the centre, though.

Not exactly sure if it’s the same location - but arrived to see the barriers at P3 free parking - also MH in P2 - you can go between the P1 and P2 alleyway - someone has removed concrete blocks to allow large vehicles inP2 there were lots of MH so we parked up and paid €7.30 for 24hrs not the best

We spent one night in the neighbouring car park. The location is excellent: we took bus line 7 to visit Vannes, or it’s a 40-minute walk. We walked back, which was very pleasant along the water. The next day, we took a short hike on the Bonleau peninsula. Very beautiful. No problems spending the night and no noise disturbance. Basic car park.

The 2 m barrier was open, so it was accessible. Convenient for visiting Vannes, but not much else; with the funfair in the evening, there were far too many people.

The site is generally limited to vehicles under 2 m, but today it was temporarily possible because of construction work. As we were still unsure, we changed location—just next door to the east, where there are parking spaces apparently belonging to the congress centre and accessible to taller vehicles. We stayed one night without any problems.

Forbidden for vehicles over 2 m! As everywhere nowadays!

In March, the 2 m barrier is definitely in place.

We spent the night there; there were 6 motorhomes. Not a sound—perfect. We’ll come back.

All the 1.90 m height barriers are in place. There is no nearby motorhome area—relatively close to the centre—for visiting. We’re leaving. No regrets. Goodbye, Vannes.
