Been here?
A free, flat car park close to St Andrews town centre, the beach and nearby cafés. It is generally quiet, although it can fill during busy periods and has limited views. The cathedral is 5 to 10 minutes away on foot, while the castle is 15 minutes away. Toilets are nearby, opening at 10am, with beach toilets 150 metres away during the day.

Quiet night with other motorhomes and a good location. Several spaces free on Thursday evening.
The car park was full when we arrived at 11 a.m. We used the daytime car park instead to visit the cathedral (8 minutes) and the castle (15 minutes).
Very well-located free parking for walking into St Andrews town centre, and just a few metres from the beach, with an excellent little café shop. Parking without a view but very quiet, apart from the seagulls.
Peaceful night and room for around 10 vans when we were there. Close to town and beach. Toilets close, but open at 10am. Only negative, not the best views, but didn't bother us.
Flat pitches, quiet. The cathedral and castle are 5 to 10 minutes’ walk away. Unsuitable for vehicles without their own toilet. During the day, the beach toilets 150 metres away are open.
very busy Saturday no chance of getting a space
The place is fine. However, the surface gets quite muddy when it rains, so dirt is easily carried into the motorhome. There are no signs at the site or in the surrounding area prohibiting parking or overnight stays. Therefore, we were able to stay here without any problems. Overall, everything was fine.
Here now, no sign. I think the last person went straight to the seafront parking; this is on the left side before the great spot.
There is now a large sign: No overnight stay. So overnighting is at your own risk. In addition, the parking area is very steep.
Brilliant spot for exploring St. Andrews, easy walk into the town centre. We arrived about 6pm and plenty of space for our 7m motorhome. Just a few minutes walk to the beach, play park, cheese toast shack and toilets. The toilets were very clean. Cheese toast shack is not to be missed the sandwiches were amazing. Peaceful quiet night we slept well. Would recommend. Stayed 28/05/26.
Excellent parking. During the day, locals park there while they go to work. Let’s keep it clean and respect the local people.
Quiet. 50 metres from the sea. 10 minutes from the ruined abbey, which is beautiful. Cars also park here, so you may have to wait a little, but it is worth it. Recommended.
Flat parking close to the town, within walking distance. No noise, apart from a few motorhomes staying for a long time. No services, but peaceful.
Quiet, near to city. 2 min walk from the beach and kids park. Be aware - the nearby toilets are closed until April’ 26.
Parked here night 2 first night at shore road ! This is a roomy place which was quiet! Close enough to walk into town ! Great we stay
Sunday night arrived around 4.30pm. Car park only half full. Parked my 7.6mt motorhome easily 15min walk into town center nice n quiet night busy in the morning with cars coming and going
We arrived at noon on a Friday. Four vans were already parked and it was quite full of cars. We found a space, though, and the cars left after 5 p.m. Great location, as others have said. The nearby toilet was locked at around 5 p.m. There was a little noise from one van later, and another van arrived just after midnight; apart from that, it was a quiet location with no passing traffic.
Like everyone before has said a great free safe stop over not too far from a lot of great visual facilities. There is a pub 2 mins away, go to the main road and go left you will see the Tenants T. Can I ask people to stop just reading these apps and start sharing your stop overs. An average of 8 vans a night on this site and only one leaves feedback. If you use the app share good and bad times.
Fantastic parking spot. Easy for East beach and a short stroll into town. Toilets around corner very clean. Cafe in harbour cheap and cheerful. Quiet night sleep.
Great parking for daytime and overnight, with an easy walk into the town centre.
A small gravel parking area. Very close to the beach and coastal walks. Very quiet at night.
