Roadside parking with a beautiful natural view over the hills, suitable for a meal stop or overnight stay. There can be some traffic and occasional horns in the evening, but the road may be quiet for the rest of the night. The area is unlit and can be a useful overnight stop.

A little traffic in the evening (Saturday), with some honking—thanks, Irish friends.... The rest of the night, no traffic, cool and no lights. In the middle of July, with campsites full and wild parking difficult, it’s a good overnight stop.
Far too close to the road for us; take the little paths and you’ll find some gems!
We followed the comments below and can only recommend it. We had a lot of wind and rain, but it is such a beautiful and natural place. Even the cows came to say hello!
We spent a quiet night, with very little traffic. Great view over the hills.
