Càmping Ribamar

We stayed this weekend, from Thursday to Sunday. A super-quiet campsite with very clean facilities. We had dinner in the restaurant, which was excellent! They held karaoke after dinner, great fun. From the campsite you can access a very quiet rocky cove on the beach. We will definitely come back.✦Translating

Beautiful campsite on a slope in the middle of a nature reserve. Good pool area (saltwater pool), restaurant and lovely hiking opportunities. At the beginning of July during the week, we were sometimes alone on the beach. At the weekend the campsite was completely full of Spanish families. As a result, it was very loud until late in the evening. Hardly anything going on during the week. Overall recommended.✦Translating

A truly beautiful natural campsite, just the way we like them! Exceptional surroundings, spotless. Excellent welcome! For lovers of nature and peace and quiet. We can't understand all the fuss about the access road; given the comments, we expected much worse. The site is neatly and comfortably laid out, and the pitches are a good size. The pool was fine, the loungers a little dated. The toilet brushes would also appreciate being replaced, as would the showerheads.✦Translating

Very good campsite with an ideal setting for peace and quiet, hiking or cycling. Very close to the sea and with a swimming pool. The facilities were always very clean. We will definitely come back.✦Translating

A little out of the way and not cheap but as a campsite, the nicest we've visited in Spain. Good sized sites, well marked, exceptionally clean and well maintained. Ten minute cycle to Alcossebre (charming little coastal town) or 45 minute walk along the coastal path. There is a restaurant at the entrance and a well maintained pool, but we didn't get to try either. Plenty of walks in the area.

I agree with all the positive opinions, but unfortunately there are far too many dogs urinating everywhere. It is really extreme and annoying.✦Translating

Beautiful campsite. Pitches nicely separated. Great location with short routes to natural coves (mainly rocky). The restaurant and pool (saltwater) were still open at the end of October. WARNING: Avoid weekends at all costs. Spanish extended families overrun the site and behave very inconsiderately. Extreme noise! We left early because of this and were not the only ones.✦Translating

Nice campsite, sanitary facilities decent, water heavily chlorinated. Very full; if you only want to stay one or two nights, you're not very popular. Good starting point for mountain biking and the sea. At €28, quite expensive. The access road is adventurous, easily manageable with our 4x4, but caravans also drive along it—adventurous. Very nice campsite. However, be prepared for a dirt and gravel road full of potholes to reach the site (which makes arrival a little difficult with a motorhome). The pool is great, although it closes at 8 p.m. (one more hour would be fantastic). And the secreto pork rice at the restaurant was wonderful.✦Translating

Very good! Clean and very well-maintained campsite. Welcoming and very professional staff! We booked at the last minute via their website and got a large shaded pitch for a van. The beach is accessible from the campsite. The access road to the campsite is indeed a little difficult because it is located in a nature reserve! …So it is a good thing that they preserve the area✦Translating

Well, the road was truly a complete disaster. We thought there would be nothing at the end. Unfortunately, the beach is anything but beautiful—just rocks and huge stones.. and then €48 for two adults and a motorhome is quite steep. The showers were nice and clean, though, and the pool was also nice. And lovely, large separated pitches.✦Translating

Well-equipped campsite with spacious, shaded pitches. Toilets cleaned several times a day, hot showers. If you don't feel like going to the sea (less than a 5-minute walk via a wild but accessible path), you can use the swimming pool, surrounded by comfortable loungers and parasols. Bar with restaurant service directly inside the campsite. Price in line with the comforts offered.✦Translating

Beautifully maintained campsite with spacious pitches. We arrived on Thursday and had a very pleasant night. On Friday, however, there was an invasion of noisy Spanish families who ran around shouting until late at night. Cars and motorhomes continued arriving until 11:30 p.m. So highly recommended during the week. Avoid weekends if you like peace and quiet. Because of this, only 2 stars✦Translating

Beautiful site with very large, shaded pitches, all separated by hedges. Totally peaceful location. At the end of May, the site was at most one-third full during the week. We stayed 3 instead of 2 nights because we liked it so much. Pool excellent. We can recommend it 100%. The dirt road there really isn't very good, but manageable with a motorhome. €34 with electricity for 2 people is okay✦Translating

The first campsite that truly feels like a holiday. Great, well-kept grounds in the middle of nowhere. The sea is reachable after a 5-minute walk (beware: rocky beach). Pool free to use. The road is definitely passable by car/van! For €27 including electricity (discount with ADAC card) for one night, 2 people and a large pitch, absolutely fine. Highly recommended all around.

A very beautiful campsite, but being the only one in the area is reflected heavily in the price (quite expensive, €48 per night for two adults, a 3-year-old child, a dog, electricity and a van). Nevertheless, it is worth it; a good opportunity to enjoy the Serra de Irta. Swimming pool, beautiful coves nearby, peaceful place and decent, clean facilities. Bread and breakfast items can be reserved; the restaurant also serves tasty food (although expensive).

The road there is bumpy but the campsite is beautiful and close to the beach. Luckily we had reserved, but now during the Easter holidays it was very full and therefore not so peaceful. We enjoyed the facilities and a bike ride through the park to Peñíscola. A good bike for rougher terrain is necessary.

Camping Ribamar impresses with excellent facilities, well-maintained infrastructure and a peaceful, natural setting. The pitches are spacious, level and well-serviced. The modern, clean sanitary facilities, which are cleaned regularly, are especially positive. Dog owners have their own showers and plenty of opportunities to exercise their dogs directly at the site. The small shop offers the essentials, and the restaurant serves simple but good dishes. Electricity, water and wastewater connections at many pitches provide comfort. Anyone looking for a peaceful, well-equipped, high-quality campsite is in exactly the right place here.

The road providing access to the campsite is certainly chaotic, but really worth it. The setting is pleasant and very peaceful. The pitches are very satisfactory and provide a certain degree of privacy. The sanitary facilities are very clean and the showers hot. A lovely discovery.

We stayed at Ribamar for three nights with our van. Although the pitches are a little dull, arranged in straight rows (but nicely large!), there is a lovely atmosphere. In 5 minutes you can walk through nature to the beautiful beach (without rubbish or dirt). The croissants and pain au chocolat are delicious! Wi-Fi is fine (€4 for a day). The only downside was that the pool was still closed.

We stayed here for two nights and felt very comfortable. We reserved in advance and communication was very friendly. The access road is bumpy but manageable. You are rewarded with wonderful nature and coastline, more beautiful than all the tourist hotspots with high-rise buildings. The site is very well maintained and all facilities are clean. We can recommend staying here.

Over a very bad road to get there. Apparently you can reserve for next January. Why is this listed on Park4night? Which camper books a year in advance!!!!
