This place is not suitable for overnight stays. Understandable in such a sensitive coastal region. There are also signs on the access roads saying "Camping Caravaning interdit". This place should not be listed here. The same applies to the two spots mentioned a little further east. We were told that the fines, if checked, would be high.
Beautiful gravel area, very uneven, no services. It had rained and it was very stormy. We stopped briefly, took a few photos and drove on. The lighthouse was barely visible through the fog.
Magnificent and quiet place with two motorhome or van spaces. It was quite muddy when we arrived, with large puddles after several days of rain. Conditions are a little harsh in bad weather, very windy and damp. No toilets or water. By the coastal path, very beautiful.
Great! Superb view, quiet place, there were five of us. A few possibilities to park a little earlier. On the GR trail, you can see hikers passing by. A place I highly recommend!!!
Superb quiet place at the end of the world, with views of the Channel Islands
Very beautiful place, keep it clean. Avoid parking one on top of another so that everyone can fully enjoy the place. I would say maximum 3–4 vans.
A really cool experience. We were alone here and it was relatively windy. However, the old bunker protected us somewhat from the wind and we had a great view of the rough sea and the old lighthouse. In the morning, a few dog walkers and birdwatchers came by, but it wasn't disturbing.
Good spot along the GR trail, so there is regular pedestrian traffic and fishermen arrive in the morning. Avoid for large vehicles; the access road is not very wide for passing and is unpaved at the end.
All I can say is: dreamy—highly recommended!
Lovely place if you like sea wind. Wind force 6 to 7 is quite strong. The wind naturally rocks you to sleep. Beautiful sunset if you're lucky. Wide-open views. You can see the weather coming. Check your internet settings. If your network operator is set to automatic, it chooses the Guernsey network. That is NOT in the EU. It cost us €30. FR is okay.
exceptional view, wild and peaceful place
I don't think this parking spot can be topped. I parked a little further up at the beginning of the road. Many hikers all day long. Nevertheless, the view was so wonderful that I stayed for two nights. Lots of toilet paper, impossible. It will surely be banned soon
The bunker in the photos doesn't look inviting, but in fact you turn your back on it to get a magical view of the lighthouse. Warning: there is 1 sheltered space and 1 or 2 fully exposed to the wind; the van was shaken all night.
Great place, level, clean, with lots of walkers. Very popular on the weekend of 15 August; many vans had to turn around. We were 4 panel vans and 2 small vans for the night.
Magnificent seaside spot with a view of the lighthouse, completely immersed in nature, next to the coastal path, village 2 km away. No services whatsoever; please leave the place as beautiful and clean as you found it!!!
Facing the sea, lulled by the sound of the waves. Magnificent sunset as a bonus
Very beautiful place but very crowded in mid-August, and THANK YOU for respecting the neighbouring houses.. there is only one, and finding 3 motorhomes parked in front of its window.. if next year it is forbidden…
we stopped to go for a walk. we were the only motorhome and there were quite a lot of cars
Unfortunately, I can only give 5 stars! We listened to the sea all night and were rocked by the wind. Normandy is different on its rough seaward side, after having had hardly any surf in recent days. Dreamlike sunset. Interestingly, a motorhome from my neighbouring town parked next to me.
Very beautiful spot, so arrive early as it is sought after. No bin or water on site, but an incredible view, hiking trails along the coast, fresh air, and simple happiness.
Absolutely the most beautiful spot in Normandy! Space for two or three motorhomes next to a ruined German bunker. A short distance away, a trail leads to magnificent beaches and a bar where I ate some of the best fish and chips of my life. Highly recommended!
Great spot. We went there in our motorhome for a walk and lunch. A couple had just spent the night there.
Superb spot, with an incredible sunset facing the sea! A little wind and sea spray, but that's perfectly normal by the sea!
No more room near the blockhouse, so I parked along the pebble beach. Indeed, it was very windy, with a little sea spray, but the view is really worth it. No traffic between 8 p.m. and 9 a.m., very quiet.
Great, very wild spot perched above the sea. Be aware that it is always very windy.
We had a nice stopover at this parking.
Facing the sea, lulled by the sound of the waves and sheltered from the wind by the bunker! Magnificent sunset as a bonus. There were two vans here that evening. Please help preserve this place intact!
We are standing here completely alone! It is absolute peace and quiet. The view of the lighthouse is simply wonderful. When it is windy, you are well protected next to the bunker wall. Just drive calmly along the road, then there is one last short 20 m stretch on a gravel track. It is worth it. I am already looking forward to the sunset. Three vehicles can surely fit here comfortably.
Super beautiful place, we spent a quiet night.
Lovely spot. Be careful: if it rained the day before or even two days earlier, it is very muddy, with large puddles, and not suitable for spending the night. Levelling blocks needed. We are not staying because it is muddy, but the place is charming and definitely a little gem in good weather :-) Free 5G reception, 3 bars.
We only walked past. We are staying farther up at the official site. One motorhome there, well over 6 m long. The proximity to the radio tower provides excellent internet. 5G. We can only dream of that, but we are not parking here for just one night.
Great spot with a view of Goury lighthouse by the sea. Some passing traffic because it is in front of a blockhouse. Hiking trails start from the spot.
A very beautiful and quiet place, although uneven and with puddles when it rains. You are right by the sea, so it is very windy, but you get a great view of the lighthouse.
