Been here?
This is a forest hiking parking area with picnic benches and tables, suitable for a quiet overnight stop. The gravel access is easy from one direction but includes a 12% or 18% gradient from another, and one approach has been described as narrow. The area is generally peaceful, with birdsong and occasional daytime visitors such as hikers, dogs, horses and mushroom pickers. There are no facilities.

Only the bird songs....that's what you hear!! Very easy, good road and level parking. YES!!!
A wonderful spot, right in the middle of the forest. Coming from Folland, there is a short 12% incline. During the day there are a few cars belonging to hikers. Afterwards, we were alone. We spent a lovely night here with only the singing of birds in the background. If possible, I would give this spot 6 stars......
Access via a forest track with an 18% incline (…) Why is something like this rated as great?!! We turned around and left.
Stayed for one night after the Atlantic Road. Heavy traffic with horses, dogs and mushroom pickers; otherwise a very quiet night.
This is a truly typical spot in the middle of nature. Quiet and peaceful. No facilities. Starting point for a hike; it is quite a climb and descent. We were on the move for two hours.
Very nice pitch in the middle of the forest with picnic benches. We drove here after the Atlantic Road because it was too crowded there. Easy access via a gravel road. We stayed for only one night, but apparently there are many hiking trails in the area.
Quiet, hiking trail easily accessible on foot. Top for one night
We were here when it was very stormy down on the coast. The night was lovely and quiet, apart from a motorcycle driving back and forth at 00:15, apparently to wake us up. The hike is very beautiful, steep and rocky; it was slippery in the forest but manageable.
Beautiful hiking parking area in the middle of nature. Very quiet; we slept wonderfully! Starting point for a beautiful hike up Gultanna (4.6 km return, 460 metres elevation gain, about 2 hours). Our recommendation: walk up in the evening, enjoy the magnificent sunset from the summit, then return in the dark with torches (you should be sure-footed, as the descent in the dark is not easy).
