Tram parking, unsafe overnight

This is a free car park near the De Andrè stop, with the tram stop just across the street for travel to Florence. It is suitable for daytime parking, with a one-way tram ticket costing 1.5 euro per person. The area has broken glass, rubbish and people behaving strangely, and it did not feel safe for overnight parking.

The place did not inspire confidence. Among the parked motorhomes there were broken glass shards, it was absolutely littered, and strange characters were hanging around the area. We left again because we did not feel safe.
Ideal car park for leaving your vehicle and taking the tram to Florence. The stop is just across the street, and parking is free. I wouldn’t leave my car there overnight, but during the day it was an excellent choice. A tram ticket costs €1.50 per person each way. We took it to central Florence and returned to the car park in the evening. It was the perfect choice—I recommend it :)
