Paid daytime parking near the lake, suitable for swimming, walking and spending a few hours. Parking is strictly prohibited from 2 a.m. to 5 a.m., and overnight stays are not permitted. A bus runs to the centre, and the cycle path is about 20 minutes away. Recent experience indicates that some local residents are hostile towards campers.

Apparently, the local residents are not very fond of campers. I parked here during the day for a bike ride, properly in a parking space. When I came back at lunchtime, there was a used condom hanging from the windscreen wiper. … At the same time, another motorhome was parked there, unfortunately across several spaces. That naturally causes resentment in a busy car park.
Paid parking for a swim. The only place we found that day. There is a bus to the centre and a cycle path 20 minutes away. We used neither; this city was just a stopover, since it seems they don’t want us there unless we stay at a campsite.
We stayed here free of charge without any problems at the beginning of February, from 5 to 9 p.m. Very nice spot by the lake, away from the bustle of Bregenz :)
Free on 1 January 2024. Unfortunately, we came for the cable car and, by parking here, had to walk for an hour.
Perfect for spending a few hours by the lake. The dog park is right around the corner. Overnight stays prohibited from 2 to 5 a.m. :D
Gorgeous place, we just stopped over for some lunch and we’re very pleased with the views and friendly locals.
