28 Route du Toulaud, 07800, Charmes-sur-Rhône
Been here?
Small, very quiet parking area above the village with beautiful views and nearby charming streets. Overnight stays are commonly used, but the site is sloping and requires levelling blocks. Access is difficult, with steep and narrow sections where passing other vehicles can be delicate. Occasional cars visit the glass containers, and walkers pass with dogs.

Great place. We drove the rear of the vehicle over the boundary, so we didn’t need more space than a car.
Very nice parking area. There are always spaces available. Cars occasionally pass by because there are glass recycling containers on the site. Walkers with dogs also pass by regularly. Be sure to follow the footpath behind the parking area (2 minutes). Wonderful view over the small village! We stayed here for 2 nights and felt very safe. (NO TOILETS AVAILABLE!)
Nice, quiet little spot, but beware: access is very difficult. It’s quite a climb to get there and it’s best not to meet anyone on the way up. Levelling blocks are essential and the ground isn’t necessarily ideal... That said, you’ll have a lovely view and charming little streets in the village.
Quiet, secluded place where we spent one night. Levelling blocks are required.
Third stop for one overnight stay in this car park—still just as quiet and reassuring, but also difficult to access. Magnificent surroundings and views.
Spent a quiet night, good for a stopover.
Second stop at this car park: plenty of space, quiet and a beautiful view. Nothing to complain about. Levelling blocks are required.
Very good, apart from the glass collection truck early this morning. Otherwise, spotless.
As two women, we felt really safe in these magnificent surroundings. A few locals passed by, but they were neither bothersome nor disrespectful. I highly recommend it.
Very quiet and sheltered from the wind.
Perfect for one night.
Nice and quiet.
Great place, beautiful view and quiet at night. Best place on the tour so far.
