Unnamed road, 212 00, Mykines
Been here?
A small, beautiful and quiet parking area at the end of a paved cul-de-sac near the Temple of Hera, surrounded by olive trees. The ground is level or slightly tilted, and the archaeological site has free entry, a restroom accessible 24/7 and a trash can available until 3:30 pm. Overnight parking permission is disputed, with the guard most recently stating that the area is only for site visitors; opening times were 8:30 am to 3:30 pm in January.

Wonderful place, quiet night. We arrived late in the evening, but in the morning, when the caretaker arrived at 8:30, he said we could not stay overnight because the parking area was only for visitors to the archaeological site. No one arrived before 10 when we left. I recommend leaving before he arrives to avoid complaints.Translating
Great parking area directly in front of the site. Thanks for allowing overnight stays here.Translating
Very nice place at the end of a road. Parking for the site, which closes at 3:30 p.m. and only opens again at 8:30 a.m. Good for one night.Translating
Very small parking area, but the site is quite isolated, so nobody is around in the evening. The site itself is free, and it is great for an early-morning walk before continuing your journey. Be a little careful of the olive branches along the way, but nothing serious.Translating
