Viewpoint parking, evening disturbances

Great place to spend the night with a beautiful view and the possibility of walking! I was annoyed by the local youth showing off in the evening with loud motorcycles and music. Otherwise we had a good night’s sleep (it became quieter from 9 p.m.) and I might not recommend coming at the weekend. I can imagine it is quieter here during the week!

Nice view, although the parking area is quite sloped. There is a somewhat more secluded “bus” space. From 7 p.m. until 1 a.m., vehicles arrived and left their engines running… The rest of the night was quiet and the wake-up was gentle.

A spot extremely well known to local young people. A meeting place for more or less respectful night owls. We still had a good night. Magnificent view over Sedan.

30th May 2024. A very beautiful and trnquil location by the WW1 French Military Cemetery - De la Marfee and an even larger WW1 & WW2 German War Cemetery. From here you can see the city of Sedan and its very large Castle. Just down in the valley is a long row of trees that are part of the Maginot Line, built by the French in the 1930 to repel the German army. We were the only ones there.

Beautiful place with a story. Good for an overnight stay if you don’t mind youthful nighttime noise and associated showing off on Friday evening.

Superb viewpoint and a very good spot to stop.

We just spent one night there. Very quiet place, with a panoramic view that we discovered early in the morning. Slight slope. A good option both day and night.

Very beautiful viewpoint for a lunch stop; there are picnic tables, but avoid it at night—extremely noisy groups of disrespectful young people, loud music, honking, shouting…
