Been here?
This is a terraced campsite on a sunny south-facing slope with views over the Swabian Alb and 78 pitches for motorhomes and caravans. It has modern sanitary facilities, cooking and washing areas, a small shop and little shade, with many extras charged separately. The Badkap leisure pool is 100 m away, and hiking, mountain biking and winter sports are available nearby. Recent stays describe the campsite as clean, friendly and generally quiet, though a road below can be somewhat audible.

Very well-maintained campsite with friendly staff and a welcoming owner. Modern, clean facilities. When we had a payment problem, the owner helped us fantastically with great patience, time, and personal effort. Worth more than five stars for that alone! Ideal base for beautiful walks and close to a lovely subtropical swimming pool.
Sunny campsite—little shade and no trees. We were there over 1 May. Gravel pitches, somewhat uninspiring, and everything costs extra. We paid €210 for three nights for two adults and two children. Wi-Fi for one device cost €9 for three days. The reception staff were very friendly. Good location—two Traufgänge hikes are reachable on foot. However, we prefer staying in green surroundings with our bus, so it was less suitable for us.
Very warm welcome at reception; they even fulfilled a request—with a delicious Jever beer. Many thanks! The sanitary facilities were always clean. Quiet, relaxing atmosphere, and quiet hours were respected. Children are welcome: playground, table tennis, and plenty of forest to play in. The village is also easily accessible. We would gladly return!
Super-nice site! Beautifully laid out. Excellent facilities. The road below can be a little noisy.
It is a lovely site. We arrived spontaneously and there were still spaces for one night. Terraced layout. Normally sized pitches, but prices for motorhomes range from €22 without use of the facilities to €60 for a comfort pitch with everything included. Very small playground but beautiful views. The facilities were clean.
The site is very clean and well maintained. Everything costs extra. Note: bread service is available; a Kaiser roll costs 90 cents but weighs only 50 grams, so it is really small. After cutting it open, once the air has gone out, you almost bite beside it.
Great site, friendly lady at reception. The facilities are very clean; washing machines and an extra cooking area are available for a fee. Large pitches and a very relaxed atmosphere. Because of the terraced layout, there is always a beautiful view. Hiking trails, including the Traufgang Ochsenberg Tour, are very close. Dogs allowed on a lead. As of August 2025, a hotel is being built next to the pool. It may be noisy during the week.
I was travelling as a commuter by car and only wanted to take a shower. Excellent, very friendly welcome, great view, and very well maintained. The shower cost me €4.50, which is still reasonable. The facilities are very clean.
Terrible!!! Noise comparable to an airport. We left one day early. The receptionist told me that no work would be carried out on the construction site next door. Was that a lie or ignorance? Of course, the €30 overpayment was not refunded.
Nice sunny site, very clean facilities, and excellent showers. Bread service. You can hear the road, but it is only slightly bothersome. Well located for walks and excursions in the surrounding area. Reception is on the site behind the barrier. Large meadow next door, good for walking the dog. Eco and Comfort pitches are the same size; the only difference is whether electricity, costing €6, is included.
Beautiful terraced site, large pitches, and very clean facilities. Everything is operated with a chip. A small note: if you are waiting at the barrier, walk into the building and turn right to reach reception. Signage is missing.
Very nice small site in a quiet location next to a swimming pool. Very friendly employee, Sandra, and small snacks and drinks in the shop, with delicious cake and speciality coffees at weekends! Well-maintained new facilities. We were only passing through and would gladly return.
Lovely small campsite next to Badcap swimming pool. We had the choice of the Stellplatz (20eu with tax) or the campsite for (37euros with tax) We chose the campsite and did the 10km hike which starts here. Very clean facilities. Nice stay.
Very friendly staff, spacious grounds, child-friendly—ideal for learning to ride a bike—with a small playground, clean and very comfortable bathrooms. The shower with a flexible handset is a huge plus. Hot water with good pressure. Washing machine and dryer available. Plenty of walking areas. A quiet and peaceful place surrounded by nature.
Friendly reception, well-maintained sanitary facilities that were always clean! The playground is charming but unfortunately very small. The ground was not very friendly for small children. The swimming pool is a three-minute walk away. Overall, the site is very tidy, modern, and recommended.
