Moorside parking, uneven and windy

A picnic and walking spot at Levisham Elbow on the moors, suitable for campervans but not entirely level. The bend can be uneven and windy. There are no signs banning overnight parking, and an overnight stay has been reported without problems.

Not level if using a tentbox. Bit too windy. But I imagine great spot if you’re in a campervan or similar!

Not level if parking on the bend, you need to be a mountain goat. We could not continue down to the station as a mad highland cow was blocking the road, after 20 mins trying to shoo it off the road we reversed back to the corner and left not really sure we had the right place as picture looked ok we were in citroen relay l3 and we would not of attempted to get level.
lovely spot, fairly level, no signs banning overnight parking. I stayed there 20/6 with no problems
