Beautiful campsite. Super relaxed atmosphere and clean sanitary facilities. There is a playground and a huge playroom. Good restaurant. Great lake, and the beach access has shallow water, making it very child-friendly. Unfortunately, dogs are only allowed on the beach in the off-season, but they are welcome on the campsite otherwise. Nice walking routes from the site.

Positive: - large playroom - lots of trees with squirrels Negative: - a senior pushed ahead while we were asking about a place to eat, in order to arrange a table for his acquaintances. - the site is crammed. - sanitary facilities not clean - people lie when assigning pitches (heard several times: “there’ll be complete shade here in half an hour,” although two hours later we were still in full sun).

A great site at Lake Faak, actually only open from 1 May. But because the weather is so good, the senior owner opened the barrier a few days early. Sanitary facilities spotless, pitches different sizes, almost all with shade. The senior owner is very charming and always has a dry sense of humour. We’ll be back!

The only one already open at this time of year. Very friendly welcome from the senior owner. Great location by the lake with good sanitary facilities. The only drawback was that €40 in the absolute low season seemed rather excessive.

Wonderful site by the lake; we are standing here among the trees. Super-nice owner, spring water from the well, and fresh bread rolls in the morning. Greek restaurant only 500 m away (we haven’t yet tried the Italian and Austrian restaurants). We’ll try one of the hiking trails today.

Great site with an uncomplicated owner who is helpful, friendly and courteous. You wish for that more often. Fair prices in the low season!

Site directly by the lake, free choice of pitch, no marked plots; all pitches are under tall trees. Clean, good sanitary facilities—an ideal place for me and my dog. The restaurant on site was also very good.

Expensive but fantastic for families. As a couple, it wasn’t our vibe but that’s not a reflection on the campsite, just our preference. Very lovely owners but restaurant took over two hours for two take away pizzas so plan accordingly.

Very beautiful but expensive campsite. We still got a pitch late in the day! You can swim wonderfully in the lake. Unfortunately, in the evening it smelled unpleasantly of drains, but the site is really beautiful and surrounded by nature!

Super family-friendly campsite! We felt very well looked after; everything feels very family-oriented and the owners are extremely accommodating. Hannes Anderwald is a passionate athlete and has loads of cycling and hiking tips. The pitches are beautifully laid out in the forest and shaded. Directly by the lake. We really enjoyed our time and will definitely return!

It is a very beautiful campsite with very friendly staff and owners. It is located directly by the lake. The restaurant offers a wide selection and the pine schnapps is a must. There are sufficient facilities for the whole family. Best regards

Very relaxed, rustic campsite. In the low season, without a reservation, we got a beautiful pitch right on the lakeshore. Very helpful and friendly owners. Dogs no problem, sanitary facilities spotless. We felt very welcome.

Very welcoming campsite. We couldn't connect the electricity so they provided an adapter. The lake and views are incredible. The bathrooms are spotless.

So relaxed, so nice and friendly! A beautiful site directly by the lake. Bread-roll service every morning from 8–11, even without pre-ordering. Sanitary facilities perfectly fine! In the low season, it is also very easy with dogs, who are even allowed in the water. Great! Absolute recommendation ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

What a great place! We got a pitch directly by the lake over the Easter weekend without any problems. Beautiful and incredibly relaxed. We’ll be back!

Great campsite, excellent location, wonderful operators, superb restaurant! Unfortunately, the bread rolls were very hard in the morning and probably from the day before, and the toilets were also very dirty during our stay… but that is down to the guests, not the operator!

Beautifully located campsite with many excursion options in the surrounding area. Delicious restaurant. A large and varied range of activities for children and everyone, but never intrusive. Sunbathing lawn by the lake, broad access to the water. Great sunsets. The pitches near the lake are especially beautiful. But everything comes at a price; it felt normal for Austria in high season.

We arrived late and unexpectedly while passing through with a small child. After waiting, we got an emergency pitch by the road: very noisy, no electricity. We left early the next day. Nevertheless, we were expected to pay almost the full price. A schnapps bottle was ready on the reception counter, and that’s what the owner smelled like too. No ID was requested and no receipt was provided—very unprofessional and unfriendly as well. Not recommended!!

Great site. Wonderful lake for swimming. Excellent Wi-Fi. The restaurant is amazing with fantastic food. We stayed for 5 days and really enjoyed it. Highly recommended.

Beautiful site, also for spontaneous travellers, with flexible choice of pitch and flexible length of stay. Pleasant atmosphere, delicious food in the restaurant, wonderful lake water for swimming, very clean sanitary facilities. Activities for children and adults, yoga by the lake, jogging track right outside, and good connections to all kinds of leisure activities. We will definitely return! Thank you!

Beautiful site directly on Lake Faak. Great sanitary facilities! Nice restaurant, and bread rolls and other pastries are available in the morning. There is really nothing to complain about… but at €46.10 for two people and a camper (June 2024, electricity included), it is definitely on the expensive side.

A campsite that leaves nothing to be desired. Extremely friendly staff, beautiful pitches (no marked plots), clean sanitary facilities, free activities such as yoga, very tasty food and fair prices. Great access to the trails (Lake Bike Badecamp).
