Stayed overnight for 1 night - very little traffic, a few joggers, cyclists, dog-walkers. No signs to indicate any restrictions or payments. No facilities. Parked adjacent to the park, quite near to the tennis courts. Pleasant aspect - sand dunes and nice views. Good shops and bars, and railway station all about 10 mins walk. Would use again.
Nice parking spot alongside the road. Very beautiful view. No services. We parked up for 1 night and it was perfect. A bit of traffic in the morning, but generally pretty quiet.
Update: October 2022 -roadworks are narrowing the road here significantly so check.. Stayed here Easter 2022 right along by the bridge up the hill where the road turns. It is quiet at night. The road is really wide too so you are not causing a problem in any way. Likewise no buses. Intend to sleep there again when we visit the Ferry. There are toilets at the car park with variable opening times.
