Been here?
A quiet farm-stay pitch on a lawn behind a restaurant in the Puszta National Park, with horses and other farm animals nearby. The restaurant serves good Hungarian food but is closed on Monday and Tuesday, while the sanitary facilities are heated and have warm water after a short wait. Horse shows and rides are available, with a recent show price of €12 p.p. The setting is natural, spacious and peaceful.

Very beautiful, close to nature, large grassy area, and the restaurant is genuinely good.
Now in October, shows and such only take place on Saturday and Sunday. If nobody is there in the evening, you can pay from 10 a.m. the next morning. Heated sanitary facilities! The hot water takes a while to arrive, but then it is pleasantly warm.
Absolutely wonderful place, there is so much to discover. We were completely alone. The horse show is fantastic, with well-kept, healthy animals. Trail rides are possible for experienced riders. The restaurant prices are moderate and the quality is very good. I would gladly give it six or more stars.
We are staying here completely alone. The welcome was very friendly, it is comparatively inexpensive, and everything we need is available. The shower and toilet are signposted; unfortunately, the restaurant is closed Monday and Tuesday.
We were just there. Great quiet, shady and inexpensive place on a meadow, with everything you need included. Behind the restaurant, where we ate very well. Closed Monday and Tuesday. Very friendly welcome in excellent German. You shouldn’t miss the horse show. €9 for seniors! Hungarian, German and English. We will come again.
What peace and quiet. Just experienced the horse show (€12 per person). Clean showers and toilets.
100% peace and quiet! There is a restaurant right next door, which is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Full marks, a real insider tip! The sanitary facilities are clean, the food at the adjoining restaurant is authentically Hungarian, the value for money is perfect, there are no children at the campsite and the dog can run around on the meadow. The site is well maintained and the overnight price is more than reasonable. We will definitely come back sometime.
I was there because of the horse show, which is genuinely excellent. The site is also nicely located, but there is only one toilet/shower and it is very far from the pitch. When I arrived on Tuesday nobody was there, and at the restaurant they told me to simply park somewhere. It took a while to find the bathroom. The electricity seemed a little adventurous. Otherwise everything was fine.
We arrived today in very bad weather/heavy rain. We received a very friendly welcome and instructions in German at reception. There is a meadow available as a pitch. Electricity, toilet/shower and disposal facilities are available. We can only recommend the place.
Beautiful, peaceful place with friendly people. If they are closed, you can pay later. Just find yourself a spot. They are open on show days: Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. You can hear birds all day, and cows, dogs and horses in the distance.
Very cheap, simple and solid. We were completely alone here and had deer all around us. Very friendly lady at reception.
A wonderfully peaceful place surrounded by shady trees. Despite Monday being their day off, we were able to park the motorhome. According to the operator, it is possible every day. Everything is uncomplicated—just register the next day. Some people speak German. Showers and toilet very clean. Grey and black water can be disposed of in the courtyard. Electricity available. The horse show is simply fantastic. Everything is clean and well maintained. The restaurant is excellent.
We arrived on Monday, their day off. We simply parked at the back on the meadow and registered the next day, which was no problem! The toilets and shower were open—at the side of the building, though you have to look for them. The meadow is very large and there is plenty of shade. The people are nice and the price is genuinely low. It could not have been better for us.
We arrived on a Tuesday during the regular opening hours and asked whether we could park on the completely empty meadow (the barrier was open). The answer was no: “We are closed today; tomorrow at 10 a.m. you are welcome to come to the horse show.” The whole property looks in serious need of renovation and does not really invite you to stay. We drove on.
Very good choice! Friendly staff, clean, well-equipped, modern washrooms. And unbelievably quiet. You cannot hear any traffic or urban noise.
Seems like a great place, but it appears to be closed. Abandoned, and nobody answers the phone. Opening hours would be a useful addition.
