A peaceful roadside pull-in beside a quiet mountain road, ideal as a base for spectacular hikes near Glattalp. The ground slopes slightly, so bring levelling wedges, and the access road is narrow with tight curves, so watch for oncoming buses and cars. Traffic is light but you're visible from the road and nearby houses. Free, no facilities. The river and cowbells provide the only sound. Motorhomes may not continue past the sign near the cattle grid overnight, due to cows.

What an incredibly beautiful place! We drove here on the recommendation of the first review. It’s unbelievably beautiful and peaceful.
Terrible place! One star deducted because there is no bread-roll service. One star because of the slight slope. One star for the overly friendly Swiss people who didn’t let us disturb them at all. And one star less because of the babbling stream—such peace... Of course, that’s complete nonsense: the place is a dream! One of our most beautiful hikes started here—highly recommended.
Superb spot. Incredible view. Indeed, it is slightly sloping, so bring leveling blocks. Be careful on the climb; buses also use this road. Two vehicles cannot pass each other, but all types of vehicles do use it. The road is fully paved.

Stunning views of the mountains and pastures. The area is quite sloping because it is beside a road, which is not very busy, so it isn’t bothersome. The road up is narrow and has many curves; you need to watch out for oncoming traffic. Still, a perfect place if you want to sleep surrounded by nature with a beautiful panorama!
Great, we’ve already been here twice. Last time was during the full moon in August. A little higher up there is convenient access to the Muota, with a small meadow where two to four people can comfortably spend time.
Superb views of the mountains and cow pastures. It is beside a road, so be aware of that. Despite this, there weren’t many cars because it is very lightly used. Also worth knowing: the ground is sloping. Otherwise, really lovely and pleasant. You feel alone in the world.
