Roadside parking, night traffic noise

I think this is the only free parking area in Bard if you want to see the fort and are travelling by motorhome. It is even level.

Excellent stop with a view of the fortress. A few minutes’ walk from the centre of Bard. The fountain does not work, and it is a little noisy because of passing cars.

Free, level parking near Bard Fort. Overnight stays are permitted, and there was no problem with noise despite the nearby main road.

Stopped here for lunch break only. Lots of traffic noise during the day. There are rubbish bins and a free water tap. If you are in a hurry don't bother with trying to get water as it would take at least 10mins to get 1 litre, very slow tap. Nice stopping place for a visit to the fort.

Good parking for visiting Bard Fort, with beautiful views beside the river. Toilets and picnic tables available; we did not stay overnight.

Beautiful view of the fort. Paid toilets. Noisy at the beginning and end of the night because it is beside the road, but quiet between midnight and 6 a.m.

Good spot to visit the Forte di Bard and the burgo. Nice tablets and WC.

Decent free spot close the fort, space for bigger campers. Toilet is 50 cents no change given. Road noise but it’s quite infrequent past 10pm, didn’t bother me

To sleep, big no, because of all the noise of the cars, you are too close to the road/cars, there is too much noise. To stop to visit the fort or have a break, it's beautiful, you see the fort and have picnic tables and water.

Good for visiting the fort. We fit in the spaces with 7 m without any problems. On the way there is a sign about a game on the historical route where you would get a discount at the fort after completing the route, but it doesn't work. The cake is a lie!

Bathrooms unavailable during the winter period, spaces for small campers, sunnier than the parking areas on the other side of the road
