My vehicle’s hot water was broken, so I asked whether I could just take a shower, paying of course. категорical refusal, with no discussion possible. €25 for two showers is expensive. Not commercial-minded at all. So one star, no more.
Located in a very beautiful setting. The place is occupied only by caravans with permanent residents. There may be three possible spots at the entrance, but they are close to the playground. We passed by yesterday, Saturday; the entrance parking area was packed with cars from Gibraltar, children were playing and running everywhere, and people were chatting in groups. More like a holiday village than a campsite.
At this time of year, this campsite is perfect for spending a few quiet days with beautiful hikes. A visit to Alcalá de los Gazules is a must (4 km away).
Located in wonderful surroundings, but keep in mind that it is May; I don’t know what it will be like in the heat and with the nearby animals. Everything is generally well maintained; it would be even better if regular visitors didn’t leave mess behind (dog poo, dirt in the sinks...). Clean, well-functioning sanitary facilities. You need to take the car to visit the village. Rodrigo, the warden, is super attentive.
Quite busy even in February. Probably Spanish and Gibraltar residents on holiday. They make a copy of your passport, which is strongly discouraged. Pitches too small for the price. Sanitary facilities neat and clean. Electricity is very complicated and expensive: €6.50. You have to fetch the receptionist, who then opens a cabinet where the plug can be connected. The cabinet is then locked again. Unfortunately, once again NO Wi-Fi.
Very friendly English-speaking reception. Large pitches on grass. Electricity/7.5 m motorhome/2 people/sanitary facilities: €28.50. Quiet here. Lovely restaurant with good, truly local food. Sanitary facilities/washing machine/surroundings very clean. Of course, there aren’t many campers here, but that certainly doesn’t bother us. And the sun is shining....
The campsite is almost deserted, with almost only (absent) permanent campers. Some permanent campers’ pitches are run-down, and LED strips are flashing everywhere. There were ants and lots of tiny flies on the pitches. Restaurant closed. We left early (one night instead of two) and asked for a refund in the morning (unsuccessfully). Sanitary facilities old but clean. We would not come back.
Very beautiful, idyllic site, partly shaded—ideal for relaxing.
Quiet, the pool is fine but the facilities are very neglected.
nice camping area. we stayed one night and enjoyed it. I would totally recommend it and come back. not many people there in the off season. a lot of permanent camping but still lots of space for normal campers. we payed 22 € for 2 people and a van without electricity. electricity is 6,5 extra. horse pastures around the camping area which we liked a lot
