Unnamed Road, 41320, Langon-sur-Cher
Been here?
A quiet, isolated spot beside the Cher, with a view of the river and surrounding forest. The grassy access path has low branches and can be difficult for large motorhomes, especially in wet weather. Swimming is not possible, and mosquitoes and small black flies can be troublesome. There are no services apart from a bin.

Very nice site beside the Cher, but overrun with tiny black flies. We stayed only to have a picnic inside the motorhome with a view of the Cher. Beware with large motorhomes: grassy track and low tree branches.Translating
Very quiet and secluded beside the Cher. Swimming is impossible. We slept well, lulled by the sounds of the forest. A few walkers passed by. Beware of mosquitoes!Translating
Very beautiful place, perfect for swimming, but it was not possible to stay overnight because the field-irrigation pump was due to start 18 hours of pumping.Translating
Perfect! Even in summer rain. Pretty and fairly clean, with peace and quiet!Translating
Very quiet beside the water. Swimming is possible; the water is very clear but shallow. Fishermen pass by. A short walk along the Cher. We slept well, and the dogs loved it.Translating
Perfect! Indeed, avoid it in rainy weather. The one next to it is really nice and has a more stable surface.Translating
We couldn’t reach the water’s edge because a tree had fallen across the path. There are tire tracks around it through the grass, but in wet weather it seemed risky. We stayed before the tree: a very quiet night on perfectly level ground. 4G was fine.Translating
Thanks to the owner for this very peaceful place, with a little relief from the heat during the heatwave.Translating
We spent a very quiet night in this clearing beside the Cher. No services, just a bin. Quite a few mosquitoes in the evening. Swimming is discouraged by the locals, and the water really doesn’t look inviting!Translating
