Riverside forest, muddy access

Very nice site beside the Cher, but overrun with tiny black flies. We stayed only to have a picnic inside the motorhome with a view of the Cher. Beware with large motorhomes: grassy track and low tree branches.✦Translating

Very quiet and secluded beside the Cher. Swimming is impossible. We slept well, lulled by the sounds of the forest. A few walkers passed by. Beware of mosquitoes!✦Translating

Very quiet beside the water. Swimming is possible; the water is very clear but shallow. Fishermen pass by. A short walk along the Cher. We slept well, and the dogs loved it.✦Translating

We couldn’t reach the water’s edge because a tree had fallen across the path. There are tire tracks around it through the grass, but in wet weather it seemed risky. We stayed before the tree: a very quiet night on perfectly level ground. 4G was fine.✦Translating

We spent a very quiet night in this clearing beside the Cher. No services, just a bin. Quite a few mosquitoes in the evening. Swimming is discouraged by the locals, and the water really doesn’t look inviting!✦Translating
