101 STOCKENS CAMPING, 474 92
Been here?
Stocken Camping is a large campsite with a swimming area, playground, beach sauna, mini golf and kayak rental. Facilities are very clean, but a camping membership card is required. In high season, a VW bus with two people cost 50€ per night, with showers extra. Guests are directed to their pitch and may not reposition their vehicle.

Everything is subjective, of course, but we did not like it. In high season we paid €50 per night for a VW bus with two people (showers extra). You are actually shown to your pitch and then are not allowed to move your vehicle. It was so windy that we could not put up the awning. Most pitches are on a meadow, with little privacy. Everything was clean!
Beautifully located site. Very nice sandy beach 400 m away. Also great for cycling. We felt very comfortable.
For those who like controlled, meticulously maintained campsites, this is the place. You get a card to enter the toilets, wash dishes and, importantly, shower for exactly 3 minutes. Go over the time? Then you have to pay extra. If you want to keep costs down, I would advise washing your hair in the sink at the dishwashing area. Warm water, no time limit ;)
Very large, with a wonderful swimming spot and beautiful scenery. A trip to the island of Käringtön is highly recommended. Kayaks can be booked easily directly on site.
Excellent campsite. Everything well maintained. The small supermarket is very well stocked, including vegan alternatives, and fresh bread and rolls can be ordered! Clean showers and bathrooms. Friendly staff. Dog-friendly. €33 per night for 2 people, 2 dogs and camper. Showers and electricity extra, but we paid just under €10 for both for 4 nights.
Lovely campsite. we had views across the water. it is very well maintained. The facilities are accessed with a card and are in great condition. The staff are very friendly. Be aware: most things have an extra cost- electric / showers / dog shower, and we seem to have been charged for electric that we didn't use (impossible to tell from the check-out receipt - I realised later from the email)
Large campsite in a magnificent seaside location but sheltered from the wind. We were there in mid-September and it was very quiet. Walks lead towards the sea. The services are impeccable and we paid about €35.
Beautiful and clean campsite in a magnificent landscape. We would gladly come again. We paid €35 per night without electricity.
Very large campsite. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed for its weekly day off. Large kiosk at the entrance. Everything you could need is available. Good value for money. Sanitary facilities spotless. The kitchen is very good, even with a dishwasher.
The site is very clean and all buildings are in very good condition. Sufficient sanitary facilities, all very clean. BUT almost €70 for one night on a pitch in a meadow?! And showers cost extra… The price and quality do not match here.
Very commercial site with many long-term campers; at the end of a tour of Sweden, it can feel overwhelming. But five stars because it is beautifully located by the sea, surrounded by rocks where children can climb wonderfully. Sanitary buildings are well distributed and clean. Shopping available at reception. Swimming directly at the site is unfortunately not allowed, but there is a beautiful bathing cove within walking distance.
The campsite is beautiful, very clean, and staff are friendly. Showers cost 7 SEK for 3 min, with a card per person preloaded with 100 SEK at check-in. There’s a restaurant with great food, lovely views and kind staff. Sea access via a sandy beach and a jetty for deeper water. A promenade runs along the sea, and another path leads to Stocken’s harbor and viewpoint.
Well-organised campsite. Quite large, but beautiful location. We were here in high season and toilets/showers were always available and super clean. Kayaking and supping possible. Be aware that swimming is only possible at a beach +/- 10 minute walk from the campsite. Cute village nearby where you can also swim (follow signs to badplats).
Camping directly by the water is possible. Beautiful campsite with music in the evening. Kayaks can be rented. There is a shop and fresh pastries in the morning. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities were not very clean. Camping for one night costs about €30. Friendly staff. Great region around the campsite on the Swedish coast.
Beautifully located site in the archipelago. Very friendly staff, well organised, good sanitary facilities with hand showers. You are taken to your pitch and positioned accordingly for fire safety. You can politely tell the guide your preferences, and they are taken into account. Pitches are uneven but can be levelled. Great kayaking, limited swimming opportunities.
Beautiful site for a kayaking trip but poor service quality, little customer friendliness and far too strict site rules with unnecessary guides. At the same time, €50 without pitch selection, and showers cost extra. The highlight is the small number of toilets for this large site. Drive on; there are better sites in the area.
Very large site with various services. We were given a pitch on very steep ground, and were told exactly how to position the camper, making it impossible to stand level. When we asked, we were given another pitch. Too few sanitary facilities for the size of the site; in building 3 there are only 4 toilets/showers. Small beach with seaweed. We missed friendliness from the staff.
Great site! Fantastic location… everything perfect!
We went away with the camper for the first time and ended up in Stocken by chance. We received a warm welcome and the owners took excellent care of us. We were allowed to look at and choose a pitch. Toilets MEGA clean. Shop, kayak rental, restaurant, sauna, mini-golf—everything is there. Probably the most beautiful site of our trip in terms of scenery. We will definitely come again!
Beautiful, fairly large site, directly in the archipelago. Certainly pleasant for canoeing/SUP. In the off-season, reception opens later in the morning, so bread service only starts at 9:00. This is inconvenient when you want to leave and have to wait for reception to open. Restaurant also closed. Sanitary facilities clean but nothing special. Friendly staff.
Campsite by the water, with a pitch offering a superb view of the sea and the small town opposite. No swimming on this beach, but you have to walk about 5 minutes to reach a private beach with sauna at extra cost. Excellent welcome. Clean sanitary facilities; showers cost extra at 7 SEK/3 min. Very quiet at this time of year, but it must be livelier in season given the many permanent facilities.
Quiet and fantastic campsite. Excellent kayak rental directly on site. Lovely walk to the archipelago coast and a sauna right at the bathing beach. It costs SEK 600 for private use. Small supermarket at reception.
The campsite has many facilities, and the bread in the morning is also excellent. Unfortunately, we were assigned a pitch next to one of the toilet buildings. This meant little privacy, including inside the camper, and a lot of noise. The pitches in the fields are not very clearly marked, which sometimes means you are packed in tightly. This was the case for us for one night, when another camper was placed barely 2 metres from our car.
From our own experience, you should reserve a pitch before arriving, because in rainy weather the meadows apparently become too wet for motorhomes. We were therefore turned away. Unfortunately, we were only directed to a site 40 km away to try there.
