Been here?
Small riverside place beside a torrent, suitable for a picnic, cooling your feet or swimming, with a quiet atmosphere and little road traffic. The river can be loud, there are many flies, and a fallen tree currently makes access harder for large motorhomes; small vehicles are more suitable. It is suitable for up to 2 small vehicles, with bins nearby and the Holzarte footbridge parking area 10 minutes away.

Very nice place, perfect for cooling off during a heatwave! However, too many flies. Perfect for a refreshing stop, not for the evening.Translating
Very nice! The sound of the river can be quite loud, but it is still a pleasure. The road has very little traffic.Translating
An ideal spot, but a large tree has fallen in the middle! Small vehicles have no problem, but larger motorhomes may find it more difficult.Translating
Great spot to chill and sleep lulled by the sound of the water. Swimming possible, bins 50 m away, and 10 minutes from the car park at the start of the Holzarte footbridge. Drinking water in Larrau. Suitable for 2 small vehicles.Translating
Excellent place, if a van had not parked across the middle to monopolise the spot. We had to stay in front of the containers and pass by their belongings every time we wanted to swim in the river.Translating
Great riverside spot. Quite a few flies, but it’s fine. Quiet and pleasant night.Translating
A well-hidden spot, with the stream just 2 metres away, ideal for children to paddle. Glass and paper containers and a hole for household rubbish nearby. In short, the babbling stream lulled us to sleep and we had a lovely night before hiking to the footbridge! No mosquitoes. Protect nature so we can continue enjoying it legally. Thank you. :)Translating
Quiet and cool place in the middle of summer.Translating
Peaceful place by the river, cool but pleasant. In the middle of summer, there are still quite a lot of mosquitoes. Be careful when arriving at the site, as there are a few tent pegs lying around. You can slightly hear cars passing, but there are few and it did not bother us at all.Translating
