This used to be a beautiful spot, but it is now very neglected, with permanent campers and old caravans parked here. It is still great for walks. However, we did not feel comfortable and drove on.Translating
Excellent park up for the night. More like a small campsite run by a trusting owner. Fill in your details on an envelope provided, put in your fee and post through a door in the toilet block. Very quiet and well maintained.
Closures in 2026: 16–17 May / 14–21 June / 30 June–5 July / 25 July–5 August / 26 August–10 September / 15–18 October.Translating
Good spot, very quiet.Translating
...and a small tip: you can call before arriving and find out, in a very friendly way, whether there are events taking place or whether the site is closed...Translating
Very quiet, beautiful forest for walking. Otherwise everything is as described. The electricity connections work perfectly.Translating
Finally the permanent campers are gone! For this reason, we had not been here for a long time. Now you can finally come to this parking area again. The nature and peace are definitely worth it. Nevertheless, quite a few things still need repairing: electricity boxes that have been defective for years, non-functioning heating in the sanitary area, and cleanliness there could also sometimes be better.Translating
In the middle of nature, near the Luhmühlen equestrian grounds. Quiet and beautiful. But the grey-water and toilet disposal is absolutely outrageous and harmful to nature, because far too much spills beside the drain. The operator is urgently requested to improve this significantly and ensure that the surrounding soil is not contaminated with grey and black water.Translating
Top spot. Everything is available: shower/electricity/waste disposal. The disposal point is a little difficult to find. Where the thick yellow hose is attached, you will find the chemical-toilet disposal directly; it is somewhat overgrown with grass. €12 is reasonable; showering costs an additional €2. I will come back.Translating
Very beautiful grassy parking area on the edge of the forest, open towards the south. Absolutely quiet, especially at night. Since only the electricity distribution points are illuminated, you can observe the night sky well. Very attractive cycling routes, for example to Amelinghausen. Take note of the closure periods. If they are not published here, you can find them on the website of the neighbouring tournament grounds.Translating
Absolutely avoid until 7 September because of a huge festival. The welcome from the people organising the upcoming festival was unfriendly, even frankly hostile...Translating
Lots of space, free choice of pitch, quiet and not much going on. We did not use the sanitary facilities.Translating
Currently, from 27 August to 10 September 2025, only for festival staff!Translating
Spacious site. The sanitary facilities were dirty. Fine for a stopover.Translating
Very quiet place, sanitary facilities, hot water. €12 for the pitch and €2 for access to the sanitary facilities. Payment is made using an envelope.Translating
#StayClean# Spacious site with self-check-in at the sanitary building, based on trust. Everything necessary is available, including toilets, showers, rubbish disposal, fresh water, and grey- and black-water disposal. Prices are perfectly reasonable. It was quiet and beautiful. Unfortunately, activities were not possible because of the rainy weather. Check-in relies on campers’ honesty—so of course, it’s a matter of honour!Translating
Reasonable price. The sanitary facilities were not very clean and are getting old, but they were okay. There should not only be information about when the site is closed, but also about when something is generally happening at the tournament grounds. Extreme noise from music and announcements can be heard from there until at least 10 p.m., and quite a lot of traffic passes directly along the site. You can also hear the party after 10 p.m. Not quiet.Translating
Located directly beside the forest, wonderfully quiet, ideal for walking and usually absolutely peaceful. Occasionally there are major events, in which case you have to move to one of the surrounding sites. And if you are very lucky, you can get the most delicious organic wholemeal rolls on site, or even a tasty stone-oven pizza. The site manager is friendly and the price is reasonable.Translating
The site is really beautiful and in a good location. Good if you are travelling with a dog. Lots of space, because you can also stay on the second site next door, so you can always find a spot. The sanitary facilities were really dirty. Cobwebs in the shower, brackets and hooks loose. A shame—it could be better. Still okay for a stopover.Translating
Quietly located, next to a large forest and meadows; there are horse activities further on. Large grassy pitches. Small sanitary building with two urinals, one toilet and two showers for men; two toilets and one shower for women. Chemical toilet disposal costs extra, and there are no washing-up sinks. €12 per night plus €2 per person for use of the sanitary facilities; put the money in the provided envelope and place it in the box. €1 coins are needed for water and €1 for six hours of electricity.Translating
Unfortunately, we also drove here for nothing and had to find another site. Events take place repeatedly throughout the summer, during which the site is closed. It is unfortunately no longer possible to just come spontaneously and have a nice time; you can no longer reliably plan to stay here either.Translating
The site was closed due to an event until 16 June 2025. There was no notice about the closure at the entrance from the main road, still about 1 km from the site.
There is some sort of show on so the site is closed which is a shame
Perfect spot and lovely and quiet.
Very relaxing site, large meadow, and not overcrowded even over the long weekend. Small, clean sanitary facilities, otherwise no frills. Clearly recommended; we stayed for two nights.
