Tälesstraße, 71394, Kernen im Remstal
Been here?
This parking area at a climbing park is quiet at night and has a barbecue area nearby. Recent changes have limited the depth with tree trunks, and a 5.70 m camper may overhang; vehicles over 6 m have very limited choice, while over 7 m require difficult manoeuvring. The area can become extremely full on weekends and sunny days.

Suitable for panel vans; the 5.70 m vehicle sticks out considerably, and moving further back is impossible because of tree trunks. It is not level either. Not recommended.
Quiet car park at night; there are cars during the day.
Quiet place. Ideal for spending the night.
For vehicles over 6 m, there is exactly one parking space. With vehicles over 7 m, you should already be very experienced at turning around, especially when it is a weekend with good weather. Then the place is packed, with no chance of finding anything. Outside weekends, you may get lucky and find a space in the evening: very idyllic, but there is still traffic from some local residents.
The car park has now been restricted at the back with tree trunks. I did not want to park my 6 m camper with bike rack there. It was also very busy. More suitable for small campers. Otherwise, a good starting point for hiking and cycling.
