Quiet mountain parking, difficult access

Many parking spaces. No shade from midday onward. Good supply and disposal facilities. Hiking trail to the beautiful town, about 1.2 kilometers with 120 meters downhill and 40 meters uphill. Something is currently being built next to the car park (a large balloon?), causing noise from early morning until late.

All services are operational, with a brand-new fresh-water supply. The road to get there is narrow with a motorhome, but the reward is great! Thank you to the municipality; we will be very happy to support the local businesses.

Attention! No fresh-water filling and no possibility of emptying tanks (out of service). Mountain car park. Visit the village of Roubion via a hiking trail in 25 minutes, with restaurants on site. Good for a stopover (in summer).

Very quiet car park with free services, waste-water disposal and water. One drawback: the filling valve is broken. More water flows beside the hose than into it—a shame about the waste. Thanks to the municipality for this area; once the valve is repaired, it will be perfect!

A little disappointed by the place compared with the ratings. It is almost level and there are facilities for emptying and filling, but it is just a car park. In addition, access from Saint-Sauveur-sur-Tinée is really not easy and sometimes very narrow.

Thanks to the town of Roubion for this very quiet and welcoming area. We spent three days here. Don’t hesitate to visit the Le Charvet mountain bar-restaurant at the top of the chairlifts, where you will meet an adorable and very welcoming couple; the L’Alpage bar-restaurant in the resort is also very welcoming.

Very quiet village area; thanks to the town hall for providing the services free of charge. A good family restaurant serving homemade food at the resort, L’Alpage; they also deliver pizzas to the area.

A quiet place, a small but welcoming resort. Mountain-bike and hiking trails. Access via Valberg, as the road from Saint-Sauveur-de-Tinée is narrow for large motorhomes. Free water and waste disposal.

Small, quiet resort with free services. The Buisses chairlift operates for pedestrians/hikers (€4.50 return) and mountain bikers, taking you 300 m higher. Restaurant “L’Alpage” at the end of the resort: pleasant setting, welcoming staff, very good value for money.

Family resort, free water and services. We ate very well at Restaurant L’Alpage in the resort, at a very reasonable price. Pizza can be ordered.

Services, pitches, facilities—everything is fine and free. Several restaurants in the resort and village. I recommend L’Alpage at the very end; they welcomed me warmly. Family cooking: dishes by the father, desserts by the daughters, and service by the mother. Local products prepared with taste at very reasonable prices. The residents we met while hiking were welcoming and friendly.

Thanks to the municipality for this pitch, but above all thanks for the water—it is not easy to find water in winter in this region; many supplies are shut off, even at low altitude!

Excellent parking with fresh water, gray-water and black-water disposal. No electricity. Starting point for hikes. A peaceful spot with a magnificent view. Thanks to the municipality for making the site available.

Very well-located area; we stayed 3 nights to hike around Roubion. We had lunch at Auberge du Moulin in the village, with careful and delicious cuisine. Thanks for providing the services free of charge.

Beautiful, very quiet area in a rather isolated resort. Wide, level pitches. We did not use the services. However, the access road from Saint-Sauveur-sur-Tinée is narrow, with many sections where passing is impossible. Fortunately, there was little traffic and we managed to arrive with our 7 m motorhome. Very good 4G.

Thanks to the municipality for this free area. Lovely little village to visit. We descended toward Saint-Sauveur-sur-Tinée with a 7.5 m A-class motorhome without any problem. A few sections require a little extra attention.

Flat, sunny car park. Fresh water and possibility of emptying gray water. No sanitary facilities. It could be quiet, were it not for residents coming and going to throw away their rubbish, as well as the garbage truck at 6 a.m. Close to the road.

Comfortable paved spot at the end of a larger car park. Black- and gray-water disposal and free fresh-water filling, all in good working order. The first row has a partially tree-obstructed view of the valley. Nice, easy walks directly from the motorhome area, including one passing under a rock arch that could have been a tourist attraction if it received more attention.
