16 Hans-Staden-Allee, 34576, Homberg (Efze)
Been here?
Two small paved motorhome spaces on a parking strip below the local road, with gravel elsewhere. Overnight stays are quiet, while mornings bring some traffic and walkers. The site is close to Homberg’s old town and castle, reachable on foot. Parking is free from 18:00 to 9:00 and the current daily cost is 7 Euro; there are no services, but rubbish bins are available.

The pitch is very centrally located. Both the castle and the old town can be reached quickly on foot. There is also an app for paying for the pitch. You can adjust the parking duration in the app at any time. However, the daily rate is now €7. For one night, the pitch is perfectly fine. Thanks to the municipality.
Nice and quiet (one overnight stay on Friday evening).
A small emergency solution during heavy rain, when everything else in the area is washed away. Completely safe, high up on the mountain! Free after 6 p.m. A little cozy, under thick, old deciduous trees and beside a walking path. Anyone arriving in the dark should have good headlights! From 7 a.m. and throughout the day, deafeningly loud. That’s why nobody stays during the day. So it is better for nights only.
Despite the rain ;-) a nice place near the old town. Easy to miss. It is directly opposite the “Reithausplatz” car park. The entrance is heading into town, roughly at the end of the car park. We did not need any services, so everything was fine.
Excellent starting point for visiting the wonderful little town and taking a stroll to the castle tower, from which you can enjoy a beautiful view. These two car parks are always in the shade, free overnight and paid from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Great place for an overnight stay while passing through. Quiet at night, a little traffic in the morning. A few minutes’ walk to the attractive town centre. City Treff is a nice pub with good pizzas at reasonable prices. Friendly landlord. This is our second visit and we’ll be back!
We stayed there last night for one night. It was nice and quiet, and the town wasn’t far away for getting something to eat.
A great place for one night! Fees apply from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Quiet, with a little privacy provided by the trees. Bins available, no toilets. McDonald’s only 4 minutes away by car. From 7:30 a.m., children are on their way to school.
Good pitch for one night. Very quiet at night, busier in the morning with many pedestrians.
Free from 6 p.m. to 9 a.m.; €6 during the day. Quite noisy during the day because of the nearby road, pleasantly quiet at night.
Very quiet place; if it is full, there is a large car park opposite for cars. Attention: payment starts at 9 in the morning.
Last night we were looking for a way out of the traffic jam on the A7 and ended up here :) Simply two lovely, quiet motorhome parking spaces! We had a peaceful night and were able to continue relaxed this morning :) There is no infrastructure.
