Small parking spot with mountain views over Appenzell, but on a slope and close to houses. As of September 2025 overnight stays are no longer allowed, with signs now posted. Still usable for a daytime stop, e.g. before a hike.

Unfortunately, overnight stays are no longer possible; signs have been put up.
Good for parking for a hike, but not for sleeping because it is sloped and too close to houses.
Unfortunately, right next to the garbage hut and not private at all, with houses all around.
Great views lovely and quiet just a bit sloped and single road track
